Your P.O.V.
It's been a couple days since me and Lin killed The General. And now things were finally looking up for everyone. The Brotherhood was wiped out and both The Ronin and Sons of Samedi were kicked out of town. Now The Saints was the only gang that was remaining in Stilwater.
Of course, there might be a couple of rival gang members left. Though with all that we've done, it was only a matter of time 'til we found them. Until then, the entire crew was celebrating with beer and hookers. But I had something else on my mind at the moment. And it was who had put that bomb on Hughes' yacht five years ago.
I had no idea who set the bomb or why they did it. I thought back to what Ben King said after The Vice Kings had turned on him. About how someone looking to take all I had. And it got me thinking about who was the one who could've set the bomb. There were a lot of possibilities going off in my head that made little sense.
It could've been a gang member of one of the old gangs. Maybe on of them tried to seek some sort of retribution for what I did. Or it could've been some person that I had robbed. But I had a lot of doubts about that since it mainly didn't sit right with me. Maybe it was someone who wanted to kill Hughes and I was just there at the wrong time.
Whatever the case, I wanted to find out what happened. And I knew just the place to look, the police station over in Saints Row. I remember Johnny said that Troy was looking into what had happened. So if there was any info on who planted the bomb, it was at the station. Luckily, it was the middle of the night, so most cops were at home or patrol and I could sneak in.
So I made my way inside and started looking for Troy's office. After I got to the third floor, I found myself in the stations offices. Once I found Troy's office, I started looking for anything on Hughes yacht explosion. After a couple minutes, I found a folder and a few tape recorders too. So I played the tape recorders first, and let's just say that I was shocked at what I heard.
They were wiretap conversations with Troy, Dex, and Julius. The first one was Dex talking to Troy about how Dex knew Troy was a cop. And it also had revealed Dex getting the job at Ultor and not ratting on Troy. I just couldn't believe that Dex didn't tell us at all. But the second one was just as shocking as the first.
Troy called Julius while he was in jail, and after I killed Winslow. Troy told Julius that he wanted The Saints to be gone for good. And Julius had to try and talk me, Johnny, and Lin into dropping our flags in exchange for pardons. Though Julius had stated he knew that I wouldn't just quit. But Troy wanted him to try and make me understand. And as I played the third tape, let's just say it put the other two to shame.
It turned out Julius was the one who set the bomb on the yacht. And it was a desperate attempt to try and kill me. After everything I did, Julius went and betrayed me. I was pissed and grabbed the recorders and the file. Then I saw a fourth tape recorder and grabbed that one too. Then I left the police station and went to Lin's place.
Lin's P.O.V.
It was early morning, and I dropped Anna off at school. Once I got back to my apartment, I saw that Y/n had just pulled up too. He looked like he was really pissed off at something. And I had a bad feeling that I wasn't going to like what it was. So I brought him to my apartment and he told me everything and played the tape recorders he had.
Needless to say is that I was on shock from what I learned. Julius tried to kill Y/n in an attempt to bring down The Saints, the gang he founded. I was probably almost as pissed as Y/n was when I replayed the third tape. But I had no idea as to why he had a fourth tape with him. And he was just as angry as he was curious as to what was on it. So he played it, and it was shocking to hear who was on it.
