Ch 23: Kanto Connection

Your P.O.V.

I was extremely pissed off at The Ronin for what they did. They tried to kill Lin and Anna by burning down their apartment building. I decided to bring Anna to the penthouse crib in the hotel at the airport. It was the closest thing to being somewhere she could be safe.

I was just so pissed, I wanted the head of that bastard who did this. But I did hear that Johnny was starting to do a little better. So at least that was some sort of good news for now. But Lin was even more pissed off than I was, and I couldn't blame her.

Right now, I was at a bar downtown with Lin and Pierce. The three of us were discussing what to do about that Ronin lieutenant. He was going to be a pain in the ass until we killed him too. Lin was talking about rejoining The Saints to get revenge. After a while, we got to the topic of Johnny's injury.

Pierce: I'm just saying, we don't know how long Gat's going to be laid out.

Y/n: And you're willing to make a noble sacrifice and take his place?

Pierce: Someone has too.

Lin: Believe me, Johnny's going to be back up in no time.

Y/n: She's right.

Pierce: And if he's not?

Y/n: Then we have bigger problems.

Then we all just sat in silence for a minute as we drank our beers. I knew that we would get that bastard sooner or later. And I was planning on making sure that he suffered for what he did to Aisha and Johnny. That's when my phone started to ring and I saw it was a blocked number before answering.

Y/n: Hello?

Shogo: How badly do you want the man that hurt Johnny Gat and nearly killed your girl and daughter?

Y/n: Who is this?

Shogo: Jyunichi will be at Kanto's tonight, this is our chance for revenge.

Y/n: "Our chance?" Who the fuck are--?

But before I could finish, the guy on the other end hung up. I wasn't sure who it was, but if his info was good I had to take the chance. So I left money for the beer and got ready to go before Pierce had stopped me.

Pierce: Where you going?

Y/n: I'm taking out the son of a bitch that killed Aisha.

Lin: I'm coming too.

Y/n: You sure?

Lin: That bastard nearly killed our daughter, so fuck yes I'm coming!

Y/n: Alright, let's go.

So Lin and I left the bar, got on a motorcycle across the street, and went to Kanto. Upon arrival, it turned out to be a Japanese restaurant. And it had a bunch of Ronin guards outside, so Jyunichi had to be here.

So Lin and I killed our way inside so we could find and kill Jyunichi. It took a few minutes due to all of the guards that were there. But we managed to find Jyunichi on the lower floors of the restaurant.

He had several lieutenants with him, but that wasn't all. On a table, there was a pair of swords for Lin and I to use. So we each picked one up and got ready to kill this bastard. But he then bowed to us for some reason, maybe due to some traditions or something.

Jyunichi: Die with some honor.

Lin: You aren't going to be getting any you son of a bitch!

So we started to fight off Jyunichi and The Ronin thugs. It was an intense fight too, especially since I've never used a sword before. After ten minutes, all of The Ronin thugs were dead and it was just me, Lin, and Jyunichi. But we all had a few scrapes from the fight and we all weren't giving up.

Jyunichi then charged at us, but we had used it to our advantage. Lin and I had dodged his attacks as we fought him and used our swords to stab him right in the gut. It took me by surprise when Lin shoved me away and used both of the swords to start hacking away.

After a few minutes, Jyunichi was a bunch of body parts. Lin was covered in his blood and breathing heavily too. After she caught her breath, I placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me as she got up before we ended up kissing one another. After a minute, we had to stop to catch our breath before she let out a sigh of relief.

Y/n: Better?

Lin: A little, but I won't be until those Ronin bastards are all dead.

Y/n: Lets get this shot started then.

So with that, we decided to leave before the cops show. I even decided to take a piece of sushi for the road. And I knew with Jyunichi dead, The Ronin would start falling apart more now.

Third P.O.V.

At The Ronin's base of operations, Kazuo was lightning candles. He was in grief at the lose of Jyunichi, a loyal lieutenant he respected. But now he was dead, killed at the hands of The Saints leader. After a moment, Shogo had entered to see his father.

Shogi: Is everything OK, father?

Kazuo: He's dead Shogo, Jyunichi is dead and all I'm left with is you.

Shogo: Is that so bad?

Kazuo: It's far worse than you could ever imagine.

Shogo: I'll make you proud father. I'll finish what Jyunichi started, I'll kill Gat, I'll--

Kazuo: Do whatever you want Shogo, just do it away from me.

All Shogo could do was walk away in disappointment, especially after what he did. He sold out his friend just to get his father's attention. But now it just made things a whole lot worse. And so, he would make The Saints suffer and kill them to make things right.
