Eli's POV

Demetri's cry's for help ring through my ears. I'm battling myself back and forth on whether I should break his arm. After what happened with Robby and Miguel I didn't want to risk anything but this was my childhood best friend. My binary brother.

Kreese's words rang through my head. "No mercy." "Only the strong will survive." That's when I did it. The snap of Demetri's arm made me flinch a little and I felt instant regret. His cries of agony sent a pain through my chest.

I looked towards Addy and the pain in my chest grew. She looked absolutely terrified of me. I don't even think she realized it herself, but a scream of terror slipped from her perfect, pink lips.

I jolted awake, my breath ragged and heart pounding. I've been having the same nightmare for weeks ever since that night. I couldn't get it out of my head.

I felt the sweat dripping down my forehead and wiped it off. The look on her face... I've never wanted to take something back so much in my life. Demetri's cries of agony made me cringe. I was the cause of that... I was starting to realize I was the cause of a lot of things.

I lost Addy that night. I lost the one person who always stood up for me. The one who always cared about me and made sure I was okay. I had to find someway to make it up to her. If at least try because I know damn well it's going to take a lot for her to even talk to me again.

~ Addy's POV

It's been a few weeks since Miguel first stood on his own since the accident. My dad and I did some serious training with him to get his legs strong enough to hold his weight while he walks. We finally got rid of the crutches and the wheelchair.

"What about "Johnny Lawerence Karate"? Or Strike Hard karate?" Miguel asked my dad. We were trying to come up with names for my dads new dojo. My dad was ignoring him and looking at Ali's message. Miguel got fed up and sat down.

"Come on sensei, I'm trying to think of names for our new dojo." Miguel said.

"How long does it take for Facebook messages to get delivered." My dad asked, completely ignoring the other topic. I rolled my eyes and laced my fingers together on the table.

Miguel gave him a look. "Ali lives in Colorado, so probably a while right?" My dad continued to ask.

"It's instantaneous." Miguel said. My dad shut the computer off and focused on Miguel.

"Okay, what about All American karate?" Miguel continued.

"It's not good enough. We need something that tells everyone we're the most badass dojo in the Valley." My dad said.

"Too bad Cobra Kai is such a badass name." I said.

"What if we just keep that? But we spell cobra with a K. They can call us triple K." My dad said. I made a face at him. He didn't realize what he just said.

"Like KKK?" Miguel asked. My dads face fell and finally realized what he said. I chuckled at his cluelessness.

"Yeah, it's probably a bad idea. Alright, whatever. We'll figure it out. First, we need some students." My dad said.

"It's my first day back at school today. I could do some recruiting. But where are we gonna train?" Miguel asked him.

"You let me worry about that." My dad said. Miguel smiled.

"I should go get ready. Don't want to be late on my first day back!" Miguel said and headed out the door. I ran my fingers through my hair.

That boy is somehow always excited for school.
