"You gotta understand that Mogadishu in the '90s was a hellhole. Warlords controlled whole swaths of the city. My team and I were charged with cleaning the place up." Kreese said, Eli and Aisha listening intently. I rolled my eyes. There's nothing interesting about those stories and certainly nothing interesting about Kreese.

"How many warlords did you kill?" Eli asked. "You keep track of every ant you stomp?" Kreese asked him. Answering a question with a question... usually means you're lying or you don't have an answer. Me and Miguel looked at each other and scoffed. We were stretching for practice and we were unfortunately behind Kreese as he told his story.

"Badass." Eli said. I, again, rolled my eyes. I seem to do that a lot around Kreese.

"They were out gunned, we were outmanned. I tell you... Rwanda was no joke." Kreese continued with this story.

"Don't you mean Somalia?" Miguel asked him. I smirked. This was gonna get interesting.

"Mogadishu is in Somalia, Rwanda's a whole different country." Miguel continued. My smirk got bigger. Caught him in his lie. Idiot.

Kreese gave him a look. "Of course, Somalia. I've spent so much time in the sandbox, it all kind of bleeds together, ya know?" Kreese continues. I scoffed. Way to cover your ass.

"Listen up! I see we've got some new recruits. Everybody, fall in." My dad said. We all did as he said. "Time to see what you're made of." He continued and walked around the mat slowly.

He started talking with a full grown adult. I knew my dad would take him for his money.

"Which one of you has the balls to take on the champ?" My dad asked. No one said anything until I heard a male voice. "I'll take him on."

I turned to see who it was and I saw a very attractive boy standing there. Gotta be around my age. Looks like his sister is with him too.

"Oh you will huh?" My dad asked him. "We saw your little demo at Valley Fest. You guys can put on a show. Can you actually fight?" His sister asked. I scoffed at her question. We wouldn't have so many students if we couldn't.

"Sounds like a challenge." My dad said.

"I like a challenge." She said back. Hmm. Maybe I could like this girl.

"Mr. Diaz, Ms. Lawrence. You will both fight one of these two. Show little Ms and Mr hot shot here what Cobra Kai is all about." My dad ordered. "Miguel, you'll fight her first." My dad said.

Everyone moved out of the way. "Look, are you sure you wanna do-" Miguel started but was cut off by her kicking him in the chest. They went back and forth and obviously Miguel was winning. He hooked her leg and grabbed it and she ended up on the ground. She got back up and they went at it again. She tackled him when he wasn't focused. "Did you see that coming?" She asked him.
