A/N: wow I got the gif to actually work this time. Anyways, enjoy the last chapter of season one!!

It's the day of the tournament and I'm super excited. I've been waiting for this for a while now. I want to put my skills to the test and be challenged. It's been a while since I've had some competition. Sure, Miguel is becoming a better fighter everyday, but he's still not anywhere near where I am. Yea I know, that sounds super cocky, but I've been training since I was 5. I've learned so many different moves and different types of karate. I've studied some on my own and some with my dad. A lot of these kids have a long way to go but they sure are quick learners.

I was putting my outfit on when I realized my dad wasn't home yet. I'm already running late as it is, so where the hell is he?

As soon as that thought crossed my mind, the door burst open and I heard my name being yelled. I quickly put my shirt over my head and packed my Gi up and ran out to the living room.

"Come on, Dad. We gotta go now or were gonna be late as shit." I yelled at him, rushing out the door to his car.

"I KNOW, ADDY. I'LL BE RIGHT OUT!" He yelled back. I opened the trunk of his new, but nice ass car, and put my bag in there. I quickly shut it and jumped in the passenger seat. I can't wait to get my drivers licenses and my own car.

I saw my dad run out, quickly locking the door and he ran to the car. He hurriedly got in the car and put the key in faster than I've ever seen him before. He quickly backed out and started to race down the road.

"Jesus, Dad. I don't think there's any need to drive THAT fast." I said, while gripping the arm rest. At what I said, he pushed the gas pedal down even more and that's when my anxiety spiked. My palms were sweating and my face and arms were tingling. My fingers were numb and my heart was pounding in my chest. I hated it when he drove this fast. One of my worst fears is getting in a car reck.

Luckily for me, we finally arrived and he parked fast, and surprisingly straight. We jumped out, grabbed our bags, and ran for the building.

"Whatever. I mean, we're here. We're gonna have to do it without them." I heard Eli say when we approached the building.

"Do what without us?" My dad asked him. They all turned around with relief on their face.

"Sensei, Addy." Aisha said. "We didn't think you are gonna show up." Eli said, right after her. I smiled at them. They should know by now us Lawrence's never back out of a fight. Ever.

"We may not always win, but we never back out of a fight." My dad said, looking down at me. I smiled back at him. We were more alike than anyone would ever think.

"Let's sign up." Miguel said impatiently. "Not yet, there's one more lesson I have to teach you." My dad replied. And we started to head inside.

"You've all learned to strike first, to be aggressive, not be losers. I taught you to strike hard, put every ounce of your power behind everything you do. But I haven't taught you the third rule of Cobra Kai." My dad said to us, walking around the circle we made, everyone listening intently.
