"Dad! Dad get back here!" I yelled as I was running to catch up to him. He walked into the church before I could stop him.
"Bullshit. What about the time in Reno with those soccer moms at the Hyatt?" My dad asked Bobby, very drunk.
"I'm sorry Uncle Bobby. I tried to stop him." I said breathlessly.
"It's alright, Addy. Johnny..." Bobby started but of course my dad cut him off.
"God forgive any of us for that?" My dad asked him and stumbled his way down the isle of the church. I walked behind him and gave everyone an apologetic smile.
"Uh... yes even that. Forgiveness is the very core of Christianity." Bobby answered patiently.
"I wouldn't know about that. Not much of a churchgoer." Dad continued. He looked a mess and was embarrassing himself, me, and especially Bobby.
"I'm sorry. Apologies, everyone. My friend here is going through some hard times." Bobby said.
"I don't know him. At allll." I said and rubbed the back of my neck. Bobby chuckled at my comment.
"Nothing I can't handle." My dad said to Bobby's comment.
"Johnny... I'm in the middle of a sermon, so how about you take a seat-" Bobby started but my dad interrupted him after flirting with one of the ladies. I smacked my palm against my forehead.
"You know, this guy was a real badass back in the day. Fighting. Drinking. Partying." My dad went on.
I sighed. Uncle Bobby better take care of this. I don't want to be the bad guy here.
"Sucks you're not allowed to get laid anymore man." My dad continued. I snorted at his comment and covered it up with a cough as a few heads turned towards me.
"How many times I gotta tell ya? I'm not a priest." Bobby said quietly.
"So your wang can still get tang? Nice." My dad said and I had to let the laugh come out of my nose to avoid a glare from Uncle Bobby and the rest of the church.
"Forgive me father." Bobby said and then swept my dads leg, making him fall straight to the ground on his back. This time I let out a loud laugh while everyone else was concerned. "He'll be alright guys, don't worry. He's had worse." I said and walked over to Uncle Bobby and pulled him into a hug.
"It's nice seeing ya, Uncle Bobby." I said and pulled away.
"It's nice seeing you too, Addy."

After that little encounter, Uncle Bobby helped me get my dad into my car and I drove him home, putting him on the couch. My next stop was the hospital. I was bringing Miguel lunch from that diner where my dad took him and explained everything with Robby.
I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car in a good spot where no one would scratch it. I walked through the parking lot, food in my hands and through the front doors, and to the front desk.
