I walked into Cobra Kai with my dad

I walked into Cobra Kai with my dad. He wanted me there with him after the few nights of break downs and I couldn't resist. He didn't want to be alone right now. He needed someone he was close with.

"Hey sensei and Addy. I'm sorry about your loss." Miguel came up to us. "Thanks." My dad said unemotionally. I just nodded my head.

"So how was the funeral?" Miguel questioned.

"As good as any funeral can be." I replied with a sad smile. They kept walking while I shifted over to the wall and leaned my body against it, closing my eyes.

It was good for about a minute until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I felt irritated until I opened my eyes and they met with the familiar pretty brown ones. I smiled at the attractive boy in front of me.

"Hey, Addy. You finally coming back?" Trey asked me. I laughed at the question.

"Hell no. I'm only here for today's lesson and today's lesson only. Mostly for my dad. He needs some support right now after our big loss."

He nodded his head. "I still think you should come back. It'll be good for you." He said. I shook my head.

"Absolutely not. I'm not being taught by Kreese. I refuse. And not you or anyone else can convince me so all of you better stop right now before you open your mouths and waste your breath." I said while slowly looking around the room, all eyes staring at me.

"Alright, everyone get your Gi's on. Class starts in five minutes." My dad ordered. I hadn't brought mine and it looks like they didn't either.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothings wrong. I just thought we were going to the woods for a special training today." Miguel said. Special training? The hell is a special training?

"What's happening in the woods?" My dad questioned.

"Well I thought it was a good time to separate the men from the boys. And the girls too I suppose." Kreese said. I scoffed and shook my head.

"How?" My dad asked him.

"Coyote Creek."

"I'm not sure they're ready for that. The only one I'm truly confident in, is Addy. She's been training her whole life whereas they've only been training for about 8-9 months." My dad said. I had a half smile on my face at that.

"We're ready, Sensei. We wanna prove ourselves." Eli said, determined.

"It's up to Sensei Lawrence. If he says it okay, then, and only then, is it okay." Kreese said. My jaw tightened. He's still trying to win over my father.

"Alright, what are you waiting for? Let's go." My dad said. They all rushed out and into separate cars. I had rode with my dad today and Miguel and Eli were riding with us. This was going to be an awkward car ride.
