"Are you kidding? I love the '80s. Dibs on Anthony Michael Hall." Miguel said as I approached him and Tory.

"80s? Anthony Michael Hall? What's this talk about, huh?" I asked him as I sat down beside him, not making eye contact with Tory.

"We're going to the roller rink. Tory works there." He replied.

"Yea and we're going as well because I work there too and I think it's time for a second date, don't you think babe?" Trey said as he sat down next to me. I blushed at the new pet name and nodded my head.

"Sure. Why not." I said with a tight smile. Tory was glaring at me and it was getting annoying.

"Look, I'm dating your brother, you're basically dating mine, and we're in Cobra Kai together. Might as well try to get along or just be a bit civil with each other." I said to her. Her glare stopped and she nodded her head. Not sure how long this will go on but Miguel's my best friend and I think of him like a brother and I don't want to ruin any relationships here with me and Tory's hatred for each other. It's not right. So if I gotta be nice towards the bitch, I will. Only for Miguel and Trey.

Eli soon walked in after that and my face fell. Things were still tense between us after everything. He's still changed and still acting like the arrogant prick he's becoming.

Miguel got up and walked over to him. I knew he was worried their friendship was damaged from Coyote Creek.

"We were enemies for a day. Cobra Kai for life." Eli said and I slightly smiled at that. They did their little handshake and came back to stretch.

"Everyone fall in." My dad said as he walked to the front of the room. I was glad it was just him now.

"Today, we will be learning one of the most important lessons a Cobra Kai could ever know." He continued.

"Where's sensei Kreese?" Eli asked. I tensed up. He still wanted him here. That's not a good sign.

"Yea shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" Stingray asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Mr. Kreese will no longer be joining us. I made a promise when I became your sensei. To always look out for your best interests. Despite how hard this may be for all of us, he didn't have our best interest at heart. John Kreese may have founded Cobra Kai, but he no longer represents what this dojo stands for. His cobra Kai was old and outdated. He refused to move forward. What happens when we do that, Mr. Diaz?" My dad said. I was nodding as he went on with his speech.

"You get stuck like cement." Miguel answered.

"Exactly. To be a great fighter, you gotta learn to adapt. This creed on the wall... Follow it to the letter, it'll make you stronger. It'll make you formidable. It will also make you an asshole. 'Cause that's just black paint on a white wall. But life's not black and white. More often than not, it's gray. And it's in those gray areas were Johnny Lawrence's Cobra Kai... Sometimes shows mercy. Doesn't mean you can't be badass. It's still a requirement. But you have to learn to think, not just with your gut... or your fists... but to really use this." My dad said and pointed to his head. I saw looks good around as he said to show mercy. I shook my head. Kreese was starting to get their brains wired to think no mercy is the only way to fight. Maybe there's still time to fix that mentality.
