Chapter Thirty-Nine: I Love You

"Hiyah!" we yelled as we looked up at our two sensei's who were on our finished sparring deck. Today was my first day back since everything happened and I am very excited. We started off the day by training with our own sensei on the deck while everyone else watched. When sparring with my dad, I didn't hold back...except when I threw a kick and landed on my ass I got angry and stomped off the deck.

My dad and Mr. Larusso were working quite well together. My dad informed me last night that he and Mr. Larusso had been learning each others style of karate. I was ecstatic to hear that. We watched them fight and use each others style of fighting and it was amazing to watch.

As I walked out to my dad's car to leave I kissed Eli goodbye. "I'll see you later, okay?" he nodded his head and went to his own car.

"I can't wait to eat Mr. Larusso's." I told Miguel as we headed down the road to our apartments to get showered and changed.

"I know, I'm fricking starving." he replied. I chuckled.

"You did great today, Addy. I'm glad to see that some time off of fighting didn't affect you much." My dad said.

"Yeah well, I had Miggy help me get back into it yesterday and it was kind of a struggle but we got through it." I smiled.

"Glad to hear it. Alright kids, we're here." My dad said. I hopped out of the car and told Miguel I would see him in a little bit. I headed inside and went straight to the showers, sweaty after today's lesson.

After my shower and I went and got dressed throwing on leggings and a pink sweater. I blow dried my hair and added a slight curl to it. I put on some mascara and I was ready to go.

"Dad! You almost ready?" I yelled out to him. He came out of his room wearing a pink shirt and a gray flannel.

"Yeah, lets go." he said and we hopped in the car and sped off towards the Larussos.

We pulled up within ten minutes and I got out walking right in, knowing the Larussos never minded.

"Miggy, Sam!" I called out. They came around the corner pulling me up the steps, seeming eager. They pulled me all the way into Sam's room and roughly sat me down on her bed.

"Uhhh guys... I don't really wanna uh, ya know, ruin your fantasies and I am NOT judging at all, but I am just not interested in a threesome with either of you." I joked.

"EW, no gross, Addy. We just wanted to know if you and Eli have said the L word yet?" Sam asked.

"Oh, no we haven't." I answered.

"What? You guys have been in love with each other since forever and you still haven't said it? I mean I know you guys have only been dating a month but it just seems appropriate, ya know." Miguel said. I sat there and thought about it. I mean yeah, they were right. I do love him but I just don't wanna say it first and be let down in the end. It's a scary thing for me to say to anyone.

"Earth to Addy." Miggy said and waved his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry, I mean yeah you guys are right, I'm just scared is all." I said.

"Hey kids, dinner!" Mrs. Larusso called out. I jumped up and practically ran out of the room, not wanting to talk about that topic anymore.

"It smells great." I said as my stomach rumbled loudly. They all laughed at me as I sheepishly sat down at the table. Everyone sat down after me and started conversations.

"So how's business?" Carmen asked Mr. Larusso.

"The dealership's been the best its been in years. It should practically be on autopilot by the time Sam takes over. Right?" Mr. Laursso said.
