It had been a few weeks since me and Eli's first date. We haven't been able to go on a second one with all the training our two sensei's had us doing each week. We had to be fully prepared for this All Valley tournament and to win against the Cobras. My dad and Mr. Larusso had me help them teach students new and difficult moves but with a little practice almost everyone had them down. Even Demetri and Brianna were doing well with them.
It was the end of practice for the fifth time this week and I felt absolutely exhausted. Between school work and practice, I had no free time whatsoever. I had barley any time to think about anything else.
"Hey Addy, I was wondering if you wanted to come over and hang out in my hot tub? Get those muscles relaxed." Sam asked me as I was walking to my car. I turned around to face her while walking backwards.
"Hell yeah, that sounds so nice right now. Let me go get my bathing suit and I'll meet you at your house." I said excitedly. Its been a hot minute since I've hung out with her or really anyone for that matter outside of the dojo.
As I walked to my car a sudden thought hit me. How was Robby doing? I shook my head frustrated with myself. I shouldn't care how Robby is doing after he betrayed me like that. Anger flared inside of me and I squeezed my water bottle until it exploded, getting water all over my car.
"Whoa there, Addy. What's got you so worked up?" Demetri asked me as he walked to his own car, stopping right beside me. He got a car after his birthday a couple of weeks ago.
"I'm sorry, Dem. I was thinking about Robby. I'm still so pissed after everything he's done." I said and shook my head for the second time.
"I'm sure he'll come to his senses sooner or later. He's a smart guy, like you. He just needs time to figure it all out." Demetri replied. I nodded my head and got into my car, not wanting to talk about my twin anymore. I sped off to my house and grabbed my swim suit and headed to Sam's house.
I didn't bother to not knock. The Larusso's are used to me showing up like this and they didn't mind.
"Sam?" I called out. A few seconds later I heard footsteps coming down the stairs but there were too many to be just be one person. Miguel and Sam soon showed up at the bottom both out of breath, clothes out of place, and hair a mess. I let out a laugh at what I just caught.
"I'm sorry, Addy I probably should have warned you he was coming." Sam said sheepishly.
"No, no its all good. I'm sorry I ruined your fun." I smirked at them. They both laughed sheepishly and rubbed the backs of their necks.
"So, we getting in that hot tub or what?" I asked them with a big smile.
"Hell yeah we are." Miguel exclaimed. I smiled at him.
"Just keep the fun at a minimum alright?" I asked them with a sly smirk. They both turned bright red and laughed, heading back up the steps.
I turned to walk out the door but as soon as I took a step, my legs buckled beneath me and I lost all feeling in them for a split second. A loud thud made its way through the house as I landed on my ass. I blinked rapidly not sure what just happened. I felt arms underneath my armpits helping me stand up.
"You okay, Addy?" Mrs. Larusso asked me. I nodded my head.
"Yeah, we've just been practicing so much that I think my legs are just really tired. Probably being overused." I said. She nodded her head agreeing with me.
"I'll have to talk to Daniel about that. Its not good for you kids to be so active like that all the time." She said and walked away. I let out a shaky breath. What just happened honestly scared the shit out of me. I shook it off, not seeing it as anything more than over exhaustion and headed back to the hot tub, finding Sam and Miguel already in there.
I got in and let out a moan of pleasure as the hot water hit my lower half. It as the best thing I've felt in a long time. Sam and Miguel laughed at my reaction.
"Must have been nice to finally rest after all the training you've done. You're doing twice as much as us with all the teaching you've been doing." Miguel said and wrapped his arm around his girlfriends shoulder. I nodded in agreement and lent my head back against the side of the hot tube.
"Its been a very long time since I've had rest like this." I said and closed my eyes. My thoughts went straight to Eli. I physically smiled at the thought of him. I'm not exactly sure what we are to be honest. We've kissed once and only been on one date. Other than that, its just been flirty words or touches, nothing more. I want something more with him. I'll have to discuss it later with him when I get the chance.
"So, you and Hawk, huh?" Sam asked me, interrupting my thoughts. I opened my eyes and lifted my head back up to answer her question.
"I don't know. I mean we kissed and have been on one date but since then its been...nothing." I said shrugging.
"He still talk an awful lot about you, ya know. Said he was planning out your next date." Miguel said. My eyes lit up and my heart skipped a beat.
"Really? I can't wait to find out what he has planned." I said eagerly, a big smile making its way onto my face.
"You're gonna love it, trust me." Miguel said and threw a small smile my way.
The rest of the night was spent telling stories and I ended up spending the night at Sam's. Even with all the fun I had tonight, I still couldn't get what happened earlier that day out of my head. I've worked much harder in the past years than I have been recently and never once have my legs given me a problem like that. It was weird and I didn't like it one bit. But hey, your body does change when you get older.
I fell asleep and the night was filled was dreams with endless dates with Eli.
