We didn't have to drive long through the brisk snow. The world looked so peaceful and beautiful. This could either be because winter was my favourite season and the snow had covered everything in a peaceful white colour or because I could hold my beloved sister in my arms again. Once we arrived we all got out as quickly as possible and ran towards the glass automatic sliding doors of the hospital. We walked down the halls until Haz pulled us through a large white glass door. There she sat dressed in a plain white hospital shirt.
I stopped, smiled at her, and then ran at her with a smile. I hugged as hard as if my life depended on it. Haz and Tom laughed happily in relief until they finally joined us and hugged us as well. So there we all stood. United and happy at my healthy sister's bedside, and I would have liked nothing better than to remain this way forever.
