Peter puts on his backpack and picks up the card he had wrote the night before.
He opens the front door only to be met with the warm June air, green leaves cover the ground that he steps onto. And then he begins the short walk to the graveyard.
Despite the rising temperatures and the unbelievable heat, the walk really isn't too bad. Peter's too busy thinking about the time he's spent without Tony, after all, it's been nearly seven months now.
He arrives pretty quickly, looking around at the large amount of people in the cemetery. Of course it's packed today, it's a special occasion. He reaches the grave, an overwhelming sadness taking over him as he looks at it. Peter sits down beside the headstone, and takes the card out from his backpack.
"Hey, Mr. Stark. I just wanted to see you today, I wrote you a message and I got you a card." He starts, looking down at the large text printed on the front of it.
"HAPPY FATHER'S DAY"
He can't help the tears that start to form in his eyes, there's nothing he wanted more than to be able to give the card to him in person.
"I'll read it for you...
Dear Mr Stark. You might not be my dad, but I wish you were. I miss you more than you'll ever know. I never had a real father, but if I did I would've wanted it to be you. Happy Father's Day. Love, Peter."
He just lets the tears drip onto the page, setting it down carefully in front of Tony's name.
"Anyways," Peter sniffs, rubbing his eyes with his jumper, "I've been visiting Morgan every Friday. And I'm still patrolling at night, when I can. Schools been rough, so I don't have as much time to be Spider-Man as I would like. But I'm doing okay. Really. I just wish you were here.I love you."
(I know this is short but I had inspiration and I just wanted to give yall some new content until I get suggestions for new chapters.)
