'Hey Mr. Stark, it's Peter. Parker. Can you call me please? It's important.'

Peters hands are shaking as he presses send on the text, sweat dripping down his forehead. He's been working with Tony for about a month, he's just back from Berlin after his fight with Captain America and his team. That wasn't great, he did get punched in the face by a giant called "Ant-Man." But this is worse. This is so much worse.
Now his whole school was in danger.
There's a few men just around the corner, at least four of them, all armed to the teeth. The kid can hear them getting closer and he frantically sends another text from his hiding spot.
'They're in the school. I need your help. Please. We're in trouble.'
Peter and his biology class are all hiding underneath the desks and there isn't anything he can do to help, he doesn't have his suit, or his webshooters.
There's a bang on the door that makes him and Ned jump, the two glance at each other with worried looks as they grip hands. The door busts down and the room erupts in screams.
"Is this where he is?" One of the men asks, eyes darting around.
"Biology, room C. He's in here." Another replies, "Okay, no one has to get hurt if Peter Parker stands up."
Ned gasps, clinging to his best friend tighter than before. Peter gulps as his spidersenses tell him to run.
The man shoots through the roof and the screams start back up.
"Give us Peter Parker or you all die!" He shouts angrily, cocking his gun again.
"I'm here! I'm- I'm here." Peter says, standing up and letting go of Ned's hand as his friend tears up.
"Let's go. Come on." The man at the front says in a gruff voice, grabbing the child by his collar and walking him out the door as the class watches in horror and shock.
"Take him out to the car and make sure he doesn't have anything he can use to contact someone." He tells the other three as he walks past them and takes the lead. Peter can barely breathe as he drags his feet out to the car they have waiting. He gasps sharply when one of the men pulls off his jacket roughly, taking the phone from his pocket. "Put your hands out in front of you."
"You don't- don't have to do this- I won't tell anyone." Peter says, he tries to back up but is gripped by a man who shoved him forward.
"You've already told someone though, right?"
"What?" The kid asks, just letting them take his wrists and bind them with a strong rope.
"You've told Stark, right? What is he to you? Are you his secret love child?" One of them asks, smirking at the others.
"What? No- No. I-" Peter is completely overwhelmed but his anxiety turns to fear when he hears a text message come through on his phone.
The four look at each other and then look at the phone.
"'I'm coming, kid. Hang on.'" He reads, "Let's get going. Starks on his way." And then he turns and gets close to the kid's face. "The next time you lie to us, you will die. Understand?"
Peter breathes quickly and nods his head, he's pushed into the middle seat of the car and blocked in with a man at each side of him.
"You're gonna answer some questions for us, okay?" The man in the passenger seat asks him rhetorically. Before Peter has a chance to respond his eyes are covered with a blindfold, and his heart starts to beat faster.
"First things first, how do you know Stark?" The man asks sternly.
"I- I'm- I'm an intern..." Peter replies breathlessly.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yes- Yes I promise." He stutters.
"Why does he care so much about his intern? We've watched you two for two weeks now, you are not just an intern." The man to his right says.
"I- I am, he's my mentor."
The man scoffs and let's out a chuckle, "Remember when I told you that if you lie again, you would die?"
Peter chokes out a sob.
"I asked you a question." He says more annoyed this time.
"Ye- Yes." He gasps.
"So now you'll die."
"No- No- Please, you- you can't-" He's cut off when a hand covers his mouth.
"Shut up or we'll knock you out." He takes his palm off of his face but Peter is really panicking. He's crying and trying to keep calm which is making him more anxious.
His spider sense warns him of the blow but he can't get away from it, he's whacked across the side of his head with a gun.

His head aches when he wakes up, he opens his eyes but can't see anything through the blindfold anyways. The first thing he notices is how windy it is, his hair is blowing and he's so cold. He tries to move but realises that his legs and his wrists are tied together. He struggles and twists side to side, but a voice snaps him out of his thoughts. "He's awake. We do this now."
"Call Stark."
Peter listens to his phone dialling, two rings and then someone picks up.
"Why are you in the Empire State Building? You okay?" Tony asks cautiously.
"No, he's not okay." One of them says with a laugh.
"What the fuck? I know where you are." Tony says, panic clear in his voice. "I'm coming for you, where is he?"
"He's on the roof, and we're going to kill him."
"Don't hurt him, he hasn't done anything." Tony tells them.
"He hasn't. You have. And now you'll pay for everything you've done."
Tony's voice comes through in static, and Peter knows he's in the suit.
"Don't fucking hurt him. Hurt me."
"Too late for that. Take him to the edge." The man speaking to Tony says with a smirk.
Peter is lifted by his arms and dragged to the ledge, he can feel the drop in front of him.
"No. No, no, no. Please- don't do this. No-"
"Don't touch him!" Tony's terrified voice calls out.
"Drop him."

That's the last thing Peter hears before he's hurtling through the air, the kid cries silently, his hands would be flailing if they weren't tied in front of him. It feels like forever when he finally hits something solid, he gasps and let's his eyes close under the cloth.
He can't hear anything, but he's almost glad that it was so quick.
"Hey." The voice faintly rattles around inside his brain. "You're alright. You're okay."
His back hurts and he can feel it. He's still alive. Somehow.
"Can you hear me?" It's Tony, he recognises his voice.
Peter's not sure if he replies but there's a blinding light that stings his eyes.
He tries to open them when he feels something underneath his stomach.
"Don't move. Don't move. You're alright." Tony reassures him.
Peter gasps out in pain, "Mr- Mr. Stark?"
"Yeah I got you. You've probably broken a few ribs, stay still okay?" His mentor replies, a hand lovingly on his back. "I'm sorry, you hit the suit pretty hard when I caught you. You're gonna be okay. I promise."
"You caught me?" Peter whispers mostly to himself in shock.
"Yeah, I got you. I got the men that did it too. I'm always gonna save you, Pete." Tony tells him.
"Thank you... I-" Peter gasps.
"Don't thank me. I broke two of your ribs." Tony says, guilt wracking his mind.
Peter turns his head to look at him, "You saved my life."
"Kid, you gotta go to sleep now. The doctors have to put you under, okay?"
Peter closes his eyes gently and doesn't flinch when he's injected with some type of liquid. The last thing he feels before he's completely blacked out is Tony kissing his forehead and running his hand through his hair. "Love you, kid."
