Bait

As the adopted son of a multi billion dollar superhero, the chances of having a quiet life were slim. So when he's hit in the head with something that causes him to pass out, Peter doesn't fret too much. That is until he wakes up.
The room that he's in is different to anything he's ever seen before. The furniture is so fancy and there's expensive ornaments on every surface. There's a white couch in the middle of what looks like the living room.
Peter's heart starts to beat faster and faster as he comes to terms with what happened. He would say it was all a bad dream, but he knows that's not true from the pain in his arms. His wrists are chained to a metal beam behind him and he's sitting on the marble floor. Someone had went through a lot of trouble to get him here.
"Good morning!" A man says, stepping into the room and smiling happily at the now-startled kid.
"Who are you?" Peter whispers, growing more nervous as the seconds tick by.
"My name is Justin. Justin Hammer. And this..." He points to the door as a large, muscly man walks in. "Is Ivan. Maybe you remember him as the man who almost killed your dad at the racetrack."
"What the hell is this? Let me go." Peter says, fake bravery in his voice.
"Let me tell you a little story." Justin says, walking towards him and kneeling down so that his face is inches away from Peter's. "I tried to have your dad killed. It sort of backfired. But now I have a foolproof plan to make sure daddy drops dead."
"You're an idiot if you think you can kill my dad. And what does that have to do with me?" Peter says angrily, leaning forward.
"Nothing at all. We just needed some... persuasion. You're nothing but bait."
"Bait?"
"Yep! I call Tony and tell him to come to my house, alone. Or else I kill you. Good plan, right?" Hammer asks rhetorically, standing up straight and ironing out his suit with his hands.
"He'll know it's a trap. You can't do this. I know your name and I'll know that you killed my dad." Peter says, head spinning from the thought of him being the reason Tony dies.
"I know. That's why, once dear old dad gets here, I'm going to kill you first. And then him, of course." Justin smiles, and then kneels down beside him again. "Why don't I call him now?"
Hammer takes out his phone and video calls Tony.
"This is not a great time right now, Justin. I'm really busy." His dad's anxious voice sounds through the phone.
"Oh I know." Hammer smirks as he turns the camera around to show Peter.
"Fuck... Peter... are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm alright. But Dad, you can't come here. It's a trap. Don't listen to anything he says!" Peter yells as Hammer gestures to Ivan to come closer. "Please. Don't come here!"
Tony starts to panic when the man he recognises as Whiplash comes into view. But the panic quickly turns to anger when he slaps his kid across the face. Peter turns pale as his nose starts to bleed out onto his lap.
"Don't touch him! I'll kill you!" Tony yells, visibly furious as Ivan steps back out of the screen with a grin on his face.
"He is just adorable, isn't he?" Hammer interrupts, holding Peter's jaw to inspect him. "I mean, look at that face. So innocent!"
Peter shakes his head, trying to get away from the grip Hammer has on him. And, despite the intense fear and the blood running down his mouth, the kid doesn't cry.
"So, Tony. How about we make a deal?" Justin asks, not even waiting for an answer. "You come here, alone with no suit, I'll let your kid go."
"What? You think I'm stupid? Why the hell would I do that?"
"Because, otherwise..." Hammer pauses and hold the phone up to show a gun pressed at Peter's temple. "I kill him."
"You're crazy! You can't do this!"
"Calm down, Stark. You don't wanna scare your boy, right?" Hammer asks sneakily, ruffling Peter's hair with his free hand.
"I... okay."
"What? No! Don't!" Peter yells, squirming about as much as possible, until a hand wraps around his throat.
"Hey! This is a conversation for the adults." Hammer says, tightening his hand around Peter's neck. It's not hard enough to truly hurt him, but it's enough to make breathing difficult.
The kid chokes a little, face losing colour, eyes wide with fear.
"Stop! I'm coming!" Tony yells, watching in horror as Hammer lets go. Peter gasps, and leans his head back against the cold metal in relief.
"Good! I'll be waiting, Tony. We'll be watching too. If you come to the door with anyone else or wearing your suit, poor little Pete gets a bullet." Justin smirks, "See you later!" The phone clicks and the call ends.
"Well! I guess dad's coming to see us!" Justin says, sighing softly and cupping Peter's face in his hands. "All because of you."
"Stop." The kid whispers, eyes looking to the floor.
"This makes you uncomfortable, huh? You can't deal with the fact that you are to blame for your dad's death?" Justin asks, brushing the kid's curls away from his eyes as he starts to tear up.
"Please..." Peter chokes out, moving to try and stop Hammer from touching him.
"Oh, it's okay. I'll make sure it's quick. Well, yours will be. I think your dad's will be different. I've always wanted to see the life drain from him as slowly as possible."
"No... no... please..." Peter begs, letting himself cry and pull at the restraints again.
"You don't like this at all, do you? Being touched. I can see how much it hurts you inside."  Hammer says, glad to have found a weak spot in the kid. He drags one finger up Peter's neck and stops at his jaw, gripping it tighter than before. A few stray tears run down Peter's cheeks as he drops his eyes in embarrassment.
"Stop... stop it... please..." The kid whispers, feeling nothing but fear.
"Stark is here." Ivan calls out, his accent heavy and prominent.
"No! Please!" Peter calls out, even more terrified.
"Ah ah ah... shh..." Justin says quietly, placing his hand over the kid's mouth to stop him from making any noise.
"Let him in. We can talk." Justin says to Ivan, who immediately moves towards the door.
When it opens, Tony practically runs into the room.
"Tony! Hey! Good to see you!" Justin says, purposely keeping his hands on Peter's face in order to make Tony angry.
"Take your hands off my kid." Tony snarls, moving closer to Hammer but keeping his mind on the large man behind him. Justin drops his hand from Peter's mouth.
"That's fine. Just have to ask you to go and join Pete. Sit down please." Justin says, standing up straight.
"Let him go first."
"No can do. Now sit." Hammer smiles, taking a gun out from his pocket and pointing it towards Peter.
"Okay! Okay." Tony says, moving towards the metal beam and sitting down. He wraps his arm around Peter as soon as he's next to him and kisses his forehead gently. "Hey... don't cry baby, it's alright." He whispers softly, wiping away his tears.
"No..." Peter starts, choking on sobs. "They're gonna kill me now... then you..."
"Yeah, sorry to interrupt, but unfortunately I have to cut this short." Hammer says, wary of Tony, but too excited of what's to come.
"You don't have to kill him. He's done nothing wrong. Let him go and do whatever you want to me." Tony says, clearly beginning to panic.
"I get to kill the Iron man." Ivan says, smirking at Tony, who just snarls back at him.
"Yeah, I know, I know. I don't like getting my hands dirty." Justin smirks, waving his wands in the air and gesturing to Ivan. He hands him the gun as soon as gets close enough to take it.
"Shoot the kid first." Justin says, bending down again to kneel opposite Peter. He puts his hand up to touch the kid, who instinctively lets out a whimper.
"Don't." Tony warns, wanting to just kill Justin with his bare hands.
"Oh Tony, it's okay. Look." Hammer says, wiping his thumb in the blood from underneath the kid's nose. He then makes a cross on the kid's forehead using the liquid. "I'm just making a target."
The door gets blown off the hinges too fast for anyone to react. Tony throws himself in front of Peter to hide him from the shots that are now being fired.
By the time it's over, Hammer has his hands in the air and Ivan is on the floor with a bullet in his leg.
"Arrest them." Nick Fury says, taking charge of the situation.
The two criminals are taken away through the broken door and only Clint, Nat and Fury are left.
"Here. Get these off of him." Tony says, pointing to the chains on his child.
"Got it." Nat says, shooting them with precision. Peter sighs in relief, holding onto his dad as soon as he can.
"You hurt?" Tony asks quietly, inspecting him before pulling his kid into a hug.
"I'm okay." Peter says as he stands up straight and lets go of his dad.
"Good. Lets get you out of here." Clint says as he begins to walk out the door.
They leave the house and get into the black car waiting for them outside.
"Thank God. That was so scary." Peter sighs.
"I know. I'm sorry I couldn't get to you sooner." Tony says sadly.
"Well you look like a badass, kid. All the blood and stuff." Clint smirks, poking Peter in the shoulder repeatedly.
"Shut up." Peter laughs quietly, pushing him away.
"C'mere baby, let me get you cleaned up." Nat says, leaning forward with a wet wipe in her hand.
She wipes away the mark on his head and then dabs at his nose carefully, especially when Peter winces.
"There you go." Nat smiles.
"Thanks." Peter mumbles, leaning into his dad's chest. "Love you, dad."
"Love you more." Tony says, playing with his hair lovingly.
