Chapter 75

TYLER's POV

We entered the Grand Dining Hall. Golden chandeliers are hanging from the ceiling and it is casting a golden glow in the whole room. The ambience is set to look romantic.

There are approximately 50 tables in the room. 20 tables for doubles, 15 for groups of four to six and 15 tables for family sized customers. At the center is a square platform designed for performances and dances since most of the time, this hall is reserved for grand occassions such as birthdays and weddings.

*(the place looks close to the one used for the official video of Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran. Add to that the tables, and chairs, hotel staffs and whoala! That's how I imagined the place.

I heard Anna gasped as we entered the room.

"Do you like it? Nice right?" I asked. My protective instincts immediately kicked in when I saw some sets of eyes turned towards Anna. I can't blame them, co'z she looks stunning! How dare she! Now, all eyes are on her and it's making me antsy! I positioned my hand on her back and we walked towards the table labeled RSVP. I felt her tense a little bit as my hands made contact with her back. But the hell! I need to make an intimidating impression to the other guys out there. She's mine!

Stephanie greeted me as we neared her. She's responsible for the reservations made in this restaurant. "Hi Ty! How are you? I heard you're here to meet hon, right?"

"Yeah, that's right. Anyway, I want you to meet Anna--- she's my date for tonight." I saw Anna looking at me startled. "And Anna this is Stephanie, she's one of our reservation staffs. If you need to pull strings for reservations here? She's the one you need."

"Hey! That's cheating!" we both laughed. "But kidding aside," she turned to Anna and offered her a hand shake "Nice meeting you." they shaked hands. "Aside from hon, you're the only girl that Tyler brought here. That's a record." she teased. Seriously? They should stop doing that. Anna might get the wrong idea any more than she already does.

"Nice meeting you too." Anna replied.

"Hey Steph, is she already here?"


"Who? Do you mean hon? Yeah, actually she just arrived. I think she went at the kitchen to talk to someone. Do you want me to page her?" She motioned at her radio.

"No, it's fine. We'll just wait for her at our table. Thanks for your time, well just sit for now."


"It's nothing. Enjoy your stay here Anna. I hope it'll be a memorable one." Steph said suggestively. She's trying to send Anna a message. A message I was trying to hide. I steered Anna away from Steph's line of vision and directed her towards our reserved table.

ANNA's POV

As we entered the dining hall, I can't help but be amazed. It's so beautiful. The way the chandeliers cast golden lights around the room, the sound of silent chattering on each table and even the clatter of the utensils adds up to its grandiosity.
