Chapter 16

Tyler's POV

"Tyler are you ready?" tanong ni kuya Eddie sa akin.

Eddie is Tita Yzah's assistant. Siya ang nag-oorganize ng Bar Events pag wala si tita. I think he's age is in late 20's or early 30's. I dont want to ask. He might think I'm rude.

"Yes I'm ready." then I proceeded on the stage.

I'm nervous. But most of all, I'm EXCITED!

"Elated" would be the perfect word. Its been a while since the last time I performed on stage.

Akala ko noon, wala na akong interest sa singing. But now that I'm here? It's nostalgic! I'm beggining to feel like a vocalist again. Just not with a band.

"Goodevening everyone!" sabi ko. Tapos biglang nagtilian yung mga girls.

'Gwapo eh! Di maiiwasan!' 

"Hope your enjoying your stay here at Bar-Tech. I'm Tyler and I'll perform for you tonight. Hope you'll enjoy."

"Oh yes we will!" sabi ni Kevin. Kaya naman nagtawanan ang mga audience.

"We're already enjoying the view, handsome." sabi naman ng isa pang random girl.

'Hindi parin talaga kumukupas ang pagiging "chick magnet" ko.'

Pero isang chick lang ang na-magnet ako. Kilala niyo na kung sino siya. No need to elaborate.

"This first song is requested by Sir Kyle. Can you stand Sir to be recognized?" tanong ko sa audience.

  

May tumayo naman na isang lalake. Saka siya kumaway. I think his age is 26. Maputi, chinito at good looking. He's with 2 other guys na mukhang kasing edad din niya.

"If you don't mind Sir, can I ask why you requested this song?"

Chismoso ba? Sa kailangan ko ng audience participation eh. Yun ang sabi ni kuya Eddie sakin,

"Audience participation is the best way to bring life in any event."

"Heartbroken. That's why." sagot ng isa niyang kasama. Kyle just continued drinking like he doesn't care.

'Halata ngang broken hearted.'

"Getting your heart broken is painful, but always remember, time heals all wounds. Here's  a song by Freestyle."
