Rescue Me, My Love

     HaoDe was beside himself.  The fact that Le Xu had managed to get herself barred from Kunlun bothered him.  He had planned to use her to get into Ye Hua's mind.  He was also very concerned to learn that Ye Hua was controlling his dragon.  That in itself was cause for great fear.  If that boy ever turned his mind to revenge, he knew they would all be in trouble.  He had questioned Le Xu thoroughly.  She didn't realize it but he had learned a great deal.  He knew now the only way to get his hands on Ye Hua would be to outright kidnap him.  If there's one thing he knew for sure, he didn't dare make Mo Yuan angry.  If Mo Yuan came to the throne room in dragon form, he could literally destroy everything.  He knew how powerful he is and he also knew about his famous temper.  He didn't dare make him mad enough to invoke that anger.  Now he had to move to plan B, his master, Ci Hang.
     Ci Hang was having many reservations as he walked to a meeting with Haode.  He knew he was going to be used to gain information but he also knew he didn't want to get on the wrong side of Mo Yuan.  He decided he would play along and just see what the situation holds.  In his mind, Ye Hua was where he should be.  There was no better teacher than Mo Yuan.  Having already heard the gossip, he knew Ye Hua was learning his dragon powers.  He was very smart that one.  Teaching the boy about his dragon would keep him safe.  Since they were twins, they could communicate with each other.  Yes that Mo Yuan was tricky and smart too.  HaoDe didn't know who he was messing with!!
     HaoDe was waiting patiently for Ci Hang.  He bowed as he entered.  "Ci Hang!  I have something I need you to do.  I need you to go to Kunlun and check on Ye Hua's progress.  I want to know just what he has managed to learn under Mo Yuan.  I know there is no better teacher, but I would feel better having his previous master's evaluation."  Ci Hang had known what he was going to say, but he agreed anyway.  " When do you wish me to leave?"  "As soon as you possibly can.  I need to know exactly what's going on there."   Ci Hang bowed and left the room.  He had a bad feeling about this whole thing.  He knew something was up but he would just have to be very careful and watch the situation closely.  He walked home and told his trusted maid he would be traveling to Kunlun.  "If I'm not back by tomorrow, send this note to Mo Yuan immediately.  Don't let anyone see it, not even yourself.  Do you understand?"  She nodded and took the note.  He turned and left.
     HaoDe called Yang Cao into his parlor.  He bowed and entered.  "Yang Cao, I want you to watch Ci Hang.  I sent him to Kunlun to check on Ye Hua's progress.  I know he didn't approve of my methods but he never said otherwise.  Watch him closely.  He will know something, I'm sure of it.  As soon as he returns, I want him brought to me.  Do you understand?  As soon as he returns."  "Yes, Fuqin.  I will leave now."  Lian Song saw his brother leave his father's parlor.  He knew something was about to happen but he was unsure as to what.  Cloaking himself under a barrier he quietly left and went in search of Chang Yu.  He knew Ye Hua was in danger, but he also knew he couldn't leave himself.  She could carry a message to Mo Yuan. 
     Chang Yu had the message memorized.  They didn't want to chance any message being intercepted.  Her usual routine had her flitting about the nine heavens like a social butterfly.  She flitted around before heading to see Dijun.  Lian Song told her it was time for him to make a trip to Kunlun too.  Si Ming met her at the door.  "To what do we owe the pleasure of your visit?"  "Lian Song has asked me to speak with Dijun, but first I must make sure he has no visitors.  Is he alone?"  Si Ming nodded.  "Yes, he's alone.  Come in."  He led her straight to Dijun.  "Dijun, Lian Song has sent me with a message for you."  "So he wants me to go to Kunlun.  What else?"  She was shocked but continued on.  "He wanted me to tell you that Mo Yuan must be warned of an upcoming attempt to snatch Ye Hua from Kunlun.  He said it was urgent.  Do you have a message to give in return?"  Dijun took a sip of tea and rose from his seat.  "Tell him I am on my way and that young Ye Hua will be safe."  She was dismissed.  She knew she was being followed as she was returning to her palace.  She decided a diversion would be a good idea.  She took the long way around.  She smelled the lotus blossoms, ran her hands in the water, flitted by a group of immortals and stopped to talk just a minute.  They were going in her direction so she decided to follow along.  It took a while but she managed to sneak away and lose her tail.  She sneaked into Lian Song's palace quietly.  She was cloaked when she heard Haode screaming at him.  "So the old goat has his suspicions too.  I best hide."  As soon as he left, she came in to find Lian Song battered and bruised.  She helped him sit up and got him a cup of water.  "What happened?"  "Fuqin tried to get me to confess I was spying for Mo Yuan.  We must be very cautious from now on.  Did you speak to Dijun?"  "Yes I did.  He said to tell you he is on his way now.  Don't worry.  Ye Hua is in the best of hands now.  Mo Yuan is no fool!  I must not be seen here.  He doesn't need to know I was here either.  I'll leave out the secret door."  "No, that door is watched now.  Turn into a butterfly or a dragon fly.  No one would suspect that.  Here get in my hand and I'll walk in my garden and just sit down.  Then you will be able to leave after I get up.  Take care, Chang Yu.  You are being watched now."  "Don't worry.  I will be very careful.  I don't want to be killed now do I?"
     HaoDe had his plan in motion now.  He just had to wait and let it run it's course.
