Takeover!

     The moment Bai Qian looked around her, a pain struck her.  She started breathing hard.  "Fuqin, do you wish to sit behind mother?  I'm not sure yet whether she will need surgery again or not."  "No, I will be here by her side for now."  "Baohu, please see if these girls will talk to you!  Fuqin said they have been silent since yesterday."  Baohu was about to talk to them when Xue and JinDe came running in.  They both fell down in front of their mother in panic.  "Mother!  What can we do?"  They spoke together and both of them were holding her hand and each other's too.  A pain struck her and she winced and breathed hard.  "You boys sit by your Fuqin.  Mother is ok for now."  Baohu called to his little sisters.  Jiemei!  Jiemei!  How are you!  It's time for you to come out!  Speak to me jiemei!  It's Si ge!!"  Nothing but silence.  "San ge!  Do surgery now!  Now, you hear me?  Now!!"  Mo Yuan looked at Baohu in total terror.  "Why are you so upset, Baohu?  What's wrong?"  "Fuqin, they won't talk to me!  They are silent!  Jinzi are they alive?!?  Please check them!!"  Jinzi scanned them carefully.  Ye Hua burst into the room.  He knelt down and took Bai Qian's hand.  "JieJie, I am here now!"  She smiled at him and promptly fainted.  "Jinzi!!  Save them!!"  Ye Hua was in a panic.  Mo Yuan was trying to get his little girls to talk.  Silence.  "Jinzi!  Do the surgery now!!  Please!  Now!!"  "Alright.  Lay mother out flat.  Shushu, you put Mother to sleep when Fuqin gets her ready.  Xue, you and JinDe be ready to pass energy to me and these girls.  Fuqin, you especially need to be ready to pass them energy!"  Chang Shan came with potions and pain elixers.  "If you are ready, Mother, we will put you to sleep now."  She looked at Jinzi and smiled.  "I'm ready."  Ye Hua put her to sleep.  He made precision cuts as he very carefully opened her womb.  He pulled out the first little girl.  She was as white as snow and pure as light.  A white dragon and she was scowling at her San ge.  He handed her to her Fuqin who held her close and purred to her.  She smiled and wiggled in his arms.  He kissed her little cheek.  He looked at her and saw the most beautiful little girl he had ever seen.  Her beauty was ethereal and her smile to her Fuqin gave her a twinkle in her eye.  He handed her to Ye Hua.  Jinzi pulled out the last little girl.  She too was white, as white as the brightly shining moon.  She scowled at her San ge.  He handed her to her Fuqin.  He cleaned his mother's womb and closed her incisions.  "Here Shushu, let me examine her.  I just need to make sure she is ok."  He very carefully took her into his arms.  He looked her over and kissed her little cheek.  "Fuqin, they are so beautiful!  My sweet little jiemei!  I'm your San ge!  This is my twin, Baohu!  He's Si ge!  Say hello to him."  Baohu looked over Jinzi's shoulder and got a scowl and a zap for his trouble!  "Ouch!  Don't be so mean!  You know Si ge loves you!"  Ye Hua stood behind Jinzi and she looked him over carefully and snubbed him too.  Xue and JinDe were looking at her sister.  She zapped them too.  "Ouch!  Please don't treat your poor Da ge so rudely!"  "Ouch!  Spare Er ge your anger!  We love you!!"  Mo Yuan took her back.  He held them closely in his arms.  Baohu could have sworn they just gave him the most smug look ever.  Baohu spoke to Jinzi in his mind.  "I'm going to try to approach Fuqin.  Watch them!"  Baohu moved close to kiss his Fuqin and was knocked backwards towards the door for his trouble.  "I knew it!  I knew they were going to attach to Fuqin!  What are they going to do when they realize he has no milk?  Hmmm?"  Mo Yuan looked at them in shock.  "Fuqin will not tolerate rude behavior!  Now I'm going to name you!  You my first one shall be named Mo Jingsi Yuehai.  You my second one shall be named Mo Jiaxiao Yuwan.  They shall be called Jingsi and Jiaxiao.  How do you like your names?"  They stared at him as he talked to them.  He was talking to them when Xia Liang Lei and Qiang de Hei came rushing in.  "Fuqin, I have come to see my jiemei!  May I?"  She walked forward and called her dragon as she came.  Her gentle purr caught them off guard and they let her take them into her arms.  "Fuqin they are so beautiful!!  I love you so much!!"  She hugged them and handed them to Hei.  He cat purred to them and they snuggled into his arms.  Baohu went to touch Jingsi and she scowled and knocked him backwards.  Not to be outdone, he gently zapped her back.  Her wail of discontent could be heard three mountains over.  Mo Yuan retrieved her and she stared at her errant Si ge.  "Fuqin!  They are already terrible!  So my little Jingsi, you want to be mean to your Si ge!  So be it!  I take my leave now!"  He walked into the hall where everyone was waiting.  He noticed Li Li was nodding so he picked her up and took her to their rooms.
     "Well I can see right away that there is going to be trouble in Kunlun!  Fuqin will not put up with your shenanigans!  You will behave yourselves.  Understand?  Now let's go to the hall where you can meet the rest of your family."  He walked in the hall as bold as brass holding one in each arm.  He walked around and let all of them see them.  They showed great interest in Bo and Chu.  When Junjie gave each one a kiss, they wiggled in their Fuqin's arms.  When everyone had seen them, he noticed their little yawns.  He took them back to his room and laid them down in their cradle.  He tucked them in and checked to make sure all was well.  He motioned for all of them to follow him to his study.   "As you can see, they are quite attached to me.  I will have to break them from it somehow.  Lei Lei, I will teach you how to use fire tomorrow.  Where is Baohu?"  "He picked up Li Li and went to his room.  I think he is mad because the girls have rejected him."  "Well in the morning he and I will come up with a plan.  Now let's rest because I have a feeling things are about to get interesting around here!"
     True to Mo Yuan's prediction, Kunlun was awakened bright and early to the cries of babies.  Bai Qian was awake and Mo Yuan helped her sit back on pillows.  He handed Jingsi to her.  She looked her mother over carefully.  She put the beautiful little girl to her breast.  She latched on with gusto.  "I see her attachment to me is superficial when it comes to eating!  Meet Mo Jingsi Yuehai.  Her jiemei is Mo Jiaxiao Yuwan.  What do you think?"  "Jingsi and Jiaxiao?  Yes, I like it!  I'm hearing they rejected Baohu and he's rather put out about it.  I think I have a plan.  Go get him and have him come here in his fox form.  We will be busy, as you can see!"  Mo Yuan got up to leave and noticed little eyes watching him.  He left quickly only to hear the cries of Jiaxiao.  He ignored it and went to find Baohu.  He was sitting in the pavilion with his chin in his hand.  Mo Yuan sat down beside him and waited.  "Fuqin, why did they reject me?  I love them so much!!"  "That's why I'm here!  I have a plan!"  "Oh?  Do tell!"  "Every morning I want you to come to my room in your fox form.  Understand?  Make your laughing sound.  We shall see what they think!  Now come with me."  Baohu transformed and walked beside his Fuqin, tails up, head held high, confidence oozing off of him.
     Mo Yuan walked in a room filled with pandemonium.  "Enough!  Fuqin is here and I brought a surprise!  Look!"  He sat down and motioned for Baohu to jump into his lap.  Bai Qian handed them over to their Fuqin.  They instantly got quiet and watched Baohu intensely.  He sniffed them and licked each one on the face.  "Jump down and roll and laugh.  Watch them carefully."  Baohu jumped down and rolled.  He laughed his fox laugh and watched them.  They looked at their Fuqin and looked at Baohu.  He laughed his fox laugh again.  They looked at him and started bouncing.  Mo Yuan called a little mattress and laid them down so Baohu could play with them.  He snuffled them, he licked them and he laid down beside them.  Little hands were grabbing his fur and trying to catch his waving tails.  He played and played until little eyes closed along with big yawns.  Success!  Mo Yuan laid them in their crib, kissed their mother and went out the door with Baohu.  He transformed and walked with his Fuqin to the arena.  "I see what you did there, Fuqin!  They didn't reject me!"  "Every morning come see them just like you did today.  Play and get close to them.  We will do this for a month,  then I will have you come and transform for them.  We will see if they realise that you and the fox are one!"  "Very good strategy, Fuqin!  Very good!"  "Now I need to train Lei Lei."  Liang Lei came to arena and worked with her Fuqin for over two hours.  She perfected her fire and was feeling quite smug.  "Fuqin, I have a secret to tell you."  "What is it, my lovely one!"  "I'm pregnant!  I haven't told Hei yet, so don't tell, ok?"  He hugged her tight.  He cupped her sweet face and smiled.  My lips are sealed!  I'm very happy for you!  Now let's go check on your very needy Xiao jiemei!"
     For a month Baohu came every morning right after feeding time.  For a month he romped and played.  The morning came when he was to transform.  He sat back from them and watched.  He changed right in front of them.  At first they were startled, but then they looked at him intently and finally reached for him.  He lifted them into his arms and tears ran down his face as he held them close.  A tiny voice was in his mind.  "Si ge?"  Baohu was wide eyed as he looked up at his Fuqin.  He spoke to both of them in their minds.  "Yes, I am Si ge!  I love you!"  "Fuqin!  We have a mind talker!!"  "Oh really?  Well let's just see who it is then!  Jingsi!  Who has you?"  She looked but no answer.  "Jiaxiao!  Who has you?"  The tiny voice spoke into his mind.  "Si ge!  Si ge!"  "Come to Fuqin!"  "No.  Want Si ge!"  "Well I have been replaced by my own son!  Very well!  Come Baohu.  We shall take a tour around the mountain.  Mother, we shall return!"  He kissed her sweet lips.  "I'll just rest while you're gone."  Baohu neglected his duties for the day and spent time with his wife and his jiemei.  They decided they liked Li Li and would let her hold them.  Bai Xue came in the hall to drink tea.  Their energy washed over him when he sat down.  They were in Baohu's arms but they started grunting and reaching for Xue.  He took them into his arms.  "So you decide you like your old Da ge, do you?  Da ge loves you!"  He kissed them on their cheek and held them close.  JinDe came in dressed in his elite guard armor.  He too, felt the energy wash over him.  They laid eyes on him and reached for him.  Grinning from ear to ear, he took them into his arms.  He kissed each one and opened his dragon to talk to them.  "So my jiemei, you love Mo Jinlong do you?  I love you too!"  Bo and Chu walked in and they wanted them.  Each took their turn kissing them and holding them.  When Junjie set foot in the hall, Mo Yuan nearly choked on his tea.  They transformed and flew straight into his arms.  They coiled around his waist and up his chest.  He held them close and came to sit by his Fuqin.  They cuddled him lovingly and nuzzled his neck.  "Well!  It seems they have deserted us all for you!"  That was until Taiyang, Zhenzhu, Gaoxing and Xingfu came in.  They left Junjie and flew around their didis.  Taiyang called to Jiaxiao.  "Come to me, Jiaxiao!  Come to Liu ge!"  They flew straight to him.  From him to Zhenzhu.  They flew around Gaoxing and Xingfu and back to their Fuqin.  "Now you know all your family!  Are you ready to eat now?  Hmmm?  Fuqin will take you to Mother now."  He took them back to the nursery and left them to eat.  He returned to the hall.  Bai Xue spoke first.  "Well Fuqin, I think you have outdone yourself this time!  Those are two very special little girls!  There is one who is talking just like Baohu did.  Which one is it?"  "It's Jiaxiao.  She is talking.  We will just have to wait and see what they will be like."  "Fuqin", said JinDe, "have you noticed how they are very beautiful, even for babies?  I've never seen anything like it.  It's like they are blessed.  It makes me wonder what they will be like."  "Yes, I've noticed.  They almost remind me of Mother.  She was very beautiful.  Some said I looked very much like her."   "Well Fuqin, maybe you should take them to meet Zumu."  "Hmmm.  I might just do that!"
     It was late afternoon.  Jingsi and Jiaxiao were awake so Mo Yuan took them out for a stroll.  He jumped with them to the bench on top of the mountain where he would go to speak to his mother and Fuqin.  "Mother!  I have some girls for you to meet!"  Silver smoke came in front of him and she appeared.  She looked at him sitting there with the two very beautiful little girls.  "Oh, Mo Yuan!  I feel you have outdone yourself this time!"  She sat down and touched them both on the cheek.  "I mated their mother in Yanhua cave.  The energy there fed my spirit for 20,000 years before I came back from the chaos.  I feel they will be very powerful.  I wanted you to see them, because I feel like they look like you.  What do you think, Mother?"  She took Jingsi into her arms.  "What are their names?"  "You are holding Mo Jingsi Yuehai.  This is Mo Jiaxiao Yuwan.  They are pure white dragons."  "Mo Yuan you have done well.  I am sad that I couldn't raise you and Ye Hua.  I am sad that I couldn't be here for all of your children.  These two will be your last.  It's not because you won't be able to mate, but your Xiao Bai Huli can't risk it anymore.  You have enough children now.  These two are indeed blessed.  They will be powerful and smart.  They will be loved by their siblings.  They will indeed be with you until you meet your calamity.  I love you, my son.  Thank you for letting me see them.  She handed Jingsi back to him.  She took Jiaxiao and kissed her.  She handed her back to him and disappeared in a cloud of silver smoke.  He stood and returned them to the nursery.
     Xia Liang Lei and Qiang de Hei had stayed for a month but they had to return to their realm.  Hei sought out Mo Yuan.  He was in his study going over correspondence and getting his plan together for a vacation.  Hei knocked on his door.  "Enter."  He went to bow but Mo Yuan waved him off.  "No bowing!  You're like a son to me!  What can I do for you?"  "I have news!  Lei and I are having a baby!!  Isn't it wonderful!?"  Mo Yuan stood and hugged him!  "It's wonderful!  Hopefully we will have another grandson and a successor to his Fuqin's throne!  Make sure Jinzi checks her over!  When will you be returning home?"  "Sadly we must return tomorrow.  My realm needs me.  Please come visit when you can!  Fuqin is rather bored now that he is retired."  "We will do that!  Come!  Let's have tea before the mountain is disrupted by cries of discontent!"  They were drinking tea and talking about training when Junjie walked in with his jiemei.  One held in each arm.  "I went to visit them, Fuqin, but they were awake.  I decided to just walk around with them.  I hope that's ok?"  "Yes, anything to keep the peace!  Come sit by us with them.  They seem to have taken a liking to Hei anyway."  Junjie sat down and they grinned at their Fuqin with rather smug grins.  "I see!  You have forsaken me for your Wu ge!  That's a good thing!  He will spoil you!"  Taiyang and Zhenzhu came in and sat down.  "Taiyang!  You and Zhenzhu get out your dizis and play the lullaby for them.  I wish to see their reaction."  They sat down and summoned their dizis.  They began to play.  They swayed as they played the tune.  Jingsi and Jiaxiao were mesmerized.  They rocked their little heads back and forth to the music.  Slowly but surely little eyes closed and they were fast asleep.  "Every afternoon when it's nap time, you two come play that for them.  They will sleep soundly.  Now Junjie, you can return them to the nursery."
     Ever since Baohu had taken Li Li to their room, she had not been well.  She was exactly two years and one month along.  She was extremely tired, she had no appetite and she just wanted to sleep.  Baohu noticed her change in her habits.  He was worried.  Very worried.  He decided to call Jinzi to come check her out.  The next morning Jinzi had come to check on his mother and his Xiao jiemei.  They checked out fine and snuggled him when he picked them up.  Baohu stopped him in the hallway.  "San ge, I need you to check on Li Li.  She's not eating, she's sleeping a lot and she seems very tired.  I'm worried."  Jinzi nodded and they walked to Baohu's rooms.  Li Li was indeed asleep.  Too deeply asleep.  Jinzi scanned her over thoroughly.  He was very alarmed.  "Didi, when did Li Li go to sleep?  How long has she been like this?"  Baohu hung his head and brought his hand to his chin.  "Two days.  It's been two days.  I couldn't wake her this morning.  I was about to call you when I saw you."  "Call Fuqin.  I need him.  I'll be in your room."  Baohu left to go get his Fuqin.  Jinzi called for Zhe Yan.  He called Chang Shan.  Chang Shan, being observant, walked in the door quickly.  Jinzi handed him a list of potions and elixers he needed.  He nodded and left to make them.  Baohu came back with Mo Yuan.  Jinzi turned and asked him a question.  "Fuqin, I don't know a lot about the horse clans and their habits.  I'm hoping you might know some things.  I'm thinking that Li Li is about to shift into her horse form to give birth.  If so, we need a special room and food for her.  I believe that's why she is in this coma because she's about to shift.  Baohu, isn't her Fuqin in the army camp right now?  We could talk to him!  Message him to come here right away."  "Er ge could get him.  I'll call him."  He sent a message to JinDe.  JinDe came in an hour later with her Fuqin.  He bowed and looked at Baohu with concern.  Mo Yuan patted him on the shoulder.  "No need for alarm, yet.  We have some questions that only you can answer.  Talk to Jinzi!"  "General Kai, do the women of your clan shift into their horse form before they give birth?  How long does the shift take?"  "Hmmm!  A good question!  The answer to your first question is yes.  They do shift.  How long does it take?  I don't know, but I know it is imperative to get her on her feet when she does.  Staying down would be bad, real bad."  "Li Li is over two years.  I'm thinking she has eleven more months.  I'm also sure she is about to shift.  What will she need to eat?  I want to make sure she is well taken care of."  "She will need plenty of alfalfa grass, clover or oats.  Plenty of water and a good warm comfy room.  A large room.  You don't want her cramped."  "So if we moved her to our little meadow, she would be fine there, wouldn't she?"  "How about you and I check this meadow to make sure it's what she needs."  "Alright then, Jinzi I'll be right back."  Baohu and the general jumped out.  "Now Jinzi, you can speak to me truthfully.  Is she in danger?"  "I believe she is ok, but we don't want a pregnant temperamental horse stomping around Kunlun, do we?"  "A good point!  I'll go to the meadow and build a very nice, large comfy stall off of their little house.  Why don't you get Mi Shu to come grow the grass and oats that she needs while I build that room.  Let me get Bo and Chu to sit with her.  We don't want her shifting without you or Baohu here!"
