Something is Amiss in Kunlun

      After months of training his baby boys, Mo Yuan finally figured out their powers.  It literally came to him as an epiphany, if you will.  He had talked to Dijun about the sun discs on their foreheads.  After all this time, Dijun found a scroll, at Kunlun no doubt, that Fuxi had written about Mo Yuan's dragon.  As he read, he saw where he was rather violent and had a tendency to treat women cruelly.  When his dragon was loose, he wanted sex and he didn't care how he got it.  He would ravish them, use them and discard them.  This was the main reason he was trained to be God of War and had to take a vow to be celibate.  Fuxi taught him to control the dragon and only use him during war.  Dijun surmised that Bai Qian throwing the charm spell on him brought out all of his primal being which led to Jinlong raping her and marking his twin sons when he marked her as a conquest.  That would explain the sun discs.  He is, after all, a golden dragon.  The sun literally shines off of him like a beacon.  Because of this, their powers were very similar to Jinlong, not Mo Yuan, but his dragon persona.  Once he figured that out, he knew why they wanted to play pranks.  It was the dominance thing.  They would do whatever it took to be on top.  One way or the other.  He knew he needed a plan, but he didn't want to suppress them like Fuxi did to him.  He sent messages to Bai Xue and Mo JinDe to take a week to come work with them since they were similar in many ways. 
     They started talking more and more.  They did talk to each other a lot but now they spoke as independent of each other.  One thing Mo Yuan knew for sure, Zhenzhu had a mean streak a mile long.  His pranks were nasty and usually caused injury.  He had to be punished on a regular basis.  Just this morning he had pranked Lei Lei.  She was practicing her archery when he made her arrows turn and one caught her in the shoulder.  She was brought into the infirmary for treatment.  When Die Feng came to get him, he was furious.  Jinlong came out and snarled.  He sent out his essence until he found them shirking their duties, swimming in the hot pool.  He jumped to them and drug them in front of him.  Jinlong snarled and hissed at them.  He used his power to send Taiyang to their room.  He was placed behind a barrier.  Zhenzhu was taken to the infirmary to see the fruit of his prank.  "See what you have done, Zhenzhu!  Your jiemei is seriously injured.  I'm telling you now, this will stop today or you will pay.  You are about to learn a lesson."
     Bai Xue and Mo JinDe were in the training arena when their Fuqin came in carrying Zhenzhu by the scruff of his neck.  They both knew what was coming.  Full on war god.  They went to the pavilion to watch.  "Since you think I won't harm you, you are about to find out."  In an instant he had his full armor on and Xuan Yuan at his side.  He built his power quickly and his storm was powerful.  Lightning was striking so fast around Zhenzhu, he could hardly jump away from it.  Jinlong laughed and swung his sword.  The little boy flew backwards and rolled in the dirt.  Zhenzhu was angry.  Real angry.  He would show that Jinlong!!  He stared at his Fuqin and transformed.  He swung his tail around and started shooting beams of lightning from his tail and the disc on his forehead.  He laughed at his Fuqin.  "Ha ha ha ha ha!!  You're weak, Jinlong!  You're weak and pitiful!  You're afraid of me!  Admit it!  You're afraid!"  Jinlong jumped behind Zhenzhu and grabbed him.  He tossed him across the arena like he was a rag doll.  "Afraid?  Think again, little boy!"  He transformed into his full blown dragon.  Bai Xue and JinDe were really starting to fear for Zhenzhu, but they had to admit their Fuqin was angry.  Real angry.  "Xue, should we interfere?  He could hurt Zhenzhu!"  "JinDe, I hate to say it, but Zhenzhu had this coming.  He really hurt Lei Lei this morning.  I'm sorry to say it but he's getting what he deserves."  Zhenzhu actually had a moment of fear when Jinlong came out in all of his glory.  He blew smoke out of his nose and flew at his Fuqin.  He was going for his throat.  Jinlong let him get close enough to strike before he grabbed him in his talons.  He threw him hard to the ground.  The little dragon sprang up and charged again.  Jinlong tail swatted him.  Hard.  He landed on the hillside.  Back and forth.  Back and forth.  Jinlong laid down and was grooming his talons when Zhenzhu attacked again.  He swatted him with his tail again and laughed.  "Keep it up, little dragon!!  You weak pathetic little boy!  You have a long way to go before you can hurt me!  Enough!"  When Jinlong swatted him and this time, he hit the side of the last mountain in the cluster hard enough to cause a rock slide.  JinDe flew after him to check on him.  He picked up Zhenzhu and brought him back to the arena.  Mo Yuan transformed and looked the boy over.  JinDe took him to the infirmary and left him there.  Jinzi came running in to check him.  "Foolish little Didi!  You will never be able to beat Fuqin!  What were you thinking?"  Zhenzhu was still furious.  "I'll kill him if it's the last thing I ever do!  I'll kill him!!  I'll kill him!!"  Jinzi, usually calm and collected, drew his hand back and slapped Zhenzhu hard.  Hard enough to bloody his lip and bruise his cheek.  He blocked his powers and put him to sleep, but he didn't heal any of his wounds.  He threw a barrier over him and left him there.
     Jinzi marched straight into his Fuqin's study.  Mo Yuan had just taken off his armor.  He had no marks on him.  "Fuqin, I blocked Zhenzhu's power.  I put him to sleep and left him under a barrier in the infirmary.  I didn't heal his wounds.  I want him to suffer to see the foolishness of his actions.  Also, he threatened to kill you.  Why would he do that?  Is he possessed or is something else wrong?"  "He said what?"  JinDe and Xue were standing in the door.  "Fuqin, he needs serious punishment.  What is wrong with him?  What has happened to him?"  "Xue, go check on Taiyang.  Maybe he can tell us."  Bai Xue went to their room.  He lowered the barrier only to find Taiyang crying on his bed.  "Da ge, did Zhenzhu try to kill Fuqin?  He's evil, Da ge!  He's my Didi but he's very evil!!  Take me to Fuqin please!  Take me to Fuqin!"  Bai Xue scooped the little boy up into his arms and took him straight to his Fuqin.  When Xue walked in with Taiyang, the little boy grunted and whined for his Fuqin.  "Fuqin!  Zhenzhu bad!  He evil!  He want to kill you!  He bad!"  "Can you hear him now, Taiyang?  He's supposed to be asleep."  Taiyang stopped for a moment and his sun disc glowed.  "Him not awake Fuqin.  Him asleep now.  Taiyang scared now, Fuqin!"  "Don't be afraid now.  I'll get to the bottom of this.  Don't worry.  Has he tried to hurt you, Taiyang?  What does he do that frightens you?"  "Fuqin, he try to kill me.  He says we supposed to be one person but we split.  He want to kill me and take me over.  Save me Fuqin!  Save me!"  Mo Yuan hugged the little boy close.  "Xue, I want you to take a message to Dijun personally.  I'll write it now.  I hate for you to neglect your own family, Xue and JinDe, but for once I really need you here.  I'm afraid for you to bring your families here.  Zhenzhu could hurt them.  I've got to get to the bottom of this.  He nearly killed his sister and he laughed about it.  Let me write this message then we discuss a strategy.  Taiyang, from now on you will stay with me or your mother.  I don't want you near Zhenzhu for now.  If he tries to talk to you, don't answer him.  If need be I will build a barrier in your mind to protect you.  Now go with your Er ge.  He will protect you.  JinDe, keep him with you at all times.  Don't be afraid to hurt Zhenzhu if he tries to hurt you.  He's powerful to be so young.  Now let me write this message."   He wrote the message and handed it to Xue.  "Hurry Xue!  Our lives depend on it."
     Mo Yuan went into his meditation cave and sat down.  He called Ye Hua.  "Didi, I need you."  Ye Hua was in a meeting.  He stood up and addressed them.  "Something has occurred that needs my attention.  We will resume this meeting in three days.  Now I must attend this matter."  Ye Hua ran to Xiwu Palace to talk to Yu Yu.  "Yu, I must go to Kunlun.  Something has happened, I'm not sure what.  I'm putting extra guards around the nine heavens.  Try to stay in the palace if possible.  Don't let the children out for any reason.  Understood?"  "I understand, Ye Hua.  Are you going to be ok?"  She held him close.  He tenderly kissed her lips and held her tight.  "Yes, I'll be fine.  It's Mo Yuan I'm worried about." He walked out and jumped to Kunlun.  He went straight to his cave.  "Da ge, what's wrong?  What can I do?"  "Didi, do you have any memory of being with me in mother's womb at all?"  Ye Hua stared off into the distance.  A soft smile came onto his face.  "Yes, a little.  When mother gave me the flute, I remembered.  I remember we held each other a lot.  Then the day came when you were ripped away and I became weak.  Fuqin saved my soul from the chaos.  He put me into a deep sleep so that I could heal.  That I remember.  That and seeing you and Jiejie when I was the lotus."  "Ye Hua, I remember you too.  I never felt completely whole until the day I came to get you to bring you back to Kunlun.  I have a side to me that you never knew about.  We were opposing personalities.  You were kind and gentle.  I was ruthless and vindictive.  You would never hurt anyone on purpose.  I would.  Your dragon is level headed and calm.  Mine was ruthless, raging and self centered.  Fuqin trained me for years to control Jinlong.  He made me suppress my dragon nature.  When Bai Qian begged me to let him be present in our lives, I was afraid.  Jinlong had been dormant for millennia.  I decided to let him live present in my conscience.  He behaved himself until the day she threw that spell on him in combat.  It was his undoing.  He has always been able to dominate, but not that day.  He raped her to regain his dominance and power.  If you only knew how close Jinlong came to killing himself, you would have been very disturbed.  For days, while I was cloaked, he fought to kill himself.  I took the lightning punishment to try to get him under control.  I made him realize that without him, I would die, then Bai Qian would die and so would Taiyang and Zhenzhu.  He agreed that he must live and get himself under control.  He struggled hard.  When the baby boys struggled so hard to live, Jinlong was aggrieved.  He knew he was responsible.  He felt much sorrow because of it.  That was why he let them suck his blood.  He felt responsible.  Now, something has happened that is his fault too.  Zhenzhu tried to kill Jinlong today.  That little boy has a lot of power and cultivation.  We flat out fought this morning because he nearly killed Liang Lei.  She's in her room nursing an arrow wound to her shoulder.  He's also tried to kill his brother.  Did I ever try to hurt you while we were together with mother?"  "No, Da ge, you didn't.  You always held me for I was slightly smaller than you.  You tried to hold me when you were born.  I think you cried when I died.  Fuqin stopped me from going into the chaos."  "Didi, for 20,000 years I fought to get out of the chaos to come back for you and Bai Qian.  Mother helped me.  There is one thing I'm afraid that happened.  I'm afraid an evil spirit tagged along with me but was dormant until Jinlong raped Bai Qian.  I believe that spirit is in Zhenzhu.  He acts like he is much older.  I can't think who would have attached to him.  I must find out or I may be forced to kill my own son."  He looked up at Ye Hua and the tears fell as he sobbed miserably. 
     Bai Xue was waiting for Dijun with his message.  Si Ming tried to take it but Xue refused.  "Fuqin said for me to hand it to him personally.  It's very important."  Si Ming led him to Dijun.  "Bai Xue greets Donghua Dijun.  Fuqin sent me with this message to you.  He wants an answer.  I'll wait."  Dijun enrolled the scroll and read it twice.  He threw it down, rose from his dais and walked out.  At the door, he stopped, looked back at Xue and Si Ming and nodded for them to follow.  He went straight to the library.  He walked row after row calling scrolls to his hand and leaving them on tables after he scanned them.  His library assistants looked rather aggravated at the mess he was making.  Finally he walked down into the basement of the library.  Once again he called scrolls, but this time he put two of them into his sleeve.  "To Kunlun now."  He walked out to the gate.  He grabbed both of them and jumped to Kunlun.
     JinDe carried Taiyang everywhere with him.  It was obvious the little boy was very afraid.  They went to the hall to drink tea with their mother.  Taiyang went straight into her arms.  "My baby!!  What's wrong?  Can you tell mother?"  "Mother, Zhenzhu tried to kill Fuqin this morning.  He's also tried to kill Taiyang.  I will let Fuqin explain further.  I'm basically Taiyang's bodyguard for now.  Fuqin is talking to Shushu in his cave right now."  "Guard him well then.  I'll go see your Fuqin."  Jinzi had returned to the infirmary to check on Zhenzhu.  He was behind the barrier but his eyes were red and his anger was very present.  "You dare to slap me, you puny fox?  I'll show you!"  He tried to break Jinzi's barrier.  Baohu walked in.  He strengthened the barrier.  "We have had enough of you, Zhenzhu!  Fuqin will set you straight once and for all!  Now shut up!  We're sick of your mouth!"  Baohu shot a bolt at him to shut him up.  Jinzi put him to sleep again.  "This is bad.  Really bad.  I know you saw the battle between him and Fuqin this morning.  He has learned nothing.  Nothing!!  As you can see, I have not tended his wounds.  I felt it prudent to let him suffer."  "He needs to suffer.  He hurt Lei Lei really bad this morning, but you already knew that.  Shushu is in the cave with Fuqin.  I wonder what they are talking about?"  "I don't know, but it must be important for him to leave the nine heavens.  Let's go have some tea.  You look tired, Jinzi.  Are you ok?"  "I'm fine.  I'm just worried for Fuqin.  I know he feels responsible, but he shouldn't.  Baohu, whatever you do, you must protect mother.  I feel like Zhenzhu will attack her to cause Fuqin great pain.  Promise me?"  "Jinzi, I will do everything in my power to protect mother.  Even if it means I have to kill Zhenzhu.  Nobody will ever hurt our mother!!"
     Mo Yuan and Ye Hua walked into the infirmary right after Baohu and Jinzi left.  Zhenzhu was asleep but barely.  Mo Yuan woke him up.  "Well if it isn't puny Jinlong and his weak Didi Heilong.  Pfffft!  Skip on back to the nine heavens, you pathetic little runt!  No wonder you died!  It's a shame Fuxi wasted his power on you.  Cost him his life.  You won't be able to keep me here for long.  Those puny foxes put up this barrier.  Won't be long before I break it.  What a sick pathetic joke.  Now get out!  I hate you!  I hate both of you!  Get out!"  Mo Yuan put him back to sleep and hung his head.  Ye Hua was beside himself.  "Who is he, Da ge?  There is someone there, but who?"  "I know who it is.  He must have attached to me in the chaos somehow but was attached to Jinlong.  Didi, I'm about to lose my life again.  Please take care of my children.  Qian Qian will die when I die because of the dragon tear.  Take care of my children.  Watch over them.  Just know that I love you.  I felt the loss when you died.  I was very aware of it.  I believe you were taken from me by a very malevolent being.  If Fuxi had not saved you, he probably would still be alive.  I see it clearly now.  The pillars falling took mother away.  We were born early.  Fuxi lost mother and then you.  I don't know how he won against this being but he did.  I need you, Dijun, Zhe Yan and Bai Zhi.  We are the oldest here now.  Maybe we can defeat him.  I'm not sure."
     Ye Hua was beside himself.  He couldn't let his Da ge go like this!  Bai Qian walked into Mo Yuan's cave.  "Mo Yuan!  Please tell me what is going on around here?  JinDe told me Zhenzhu tried to kill you!  Where is he?  I want to see him!  Now!"  "Dearest, please don't go in there now.  He's very dangerous and he would hurt you just to get at me.  I'm waiting for an answer to my message to Dijun.  I had Bai Xue take it to him personally.  Let's wait until he comes before we go back in there.  I assume you have seen how afraid Taiyang is?  Zhenzhu tried to kill him to.  Qian Qian, this is all my fault."  His eyes turned gold and he looked at her with great sorrow.  "Qian'er, it is all my fault.  I brought this on us.  If I had not raped you and brought out my beastial nature to dominate, none of this would have happened.  Qian'er, what if I have to kill my own son?  What will I do?  What will I do?"  He threw back his head and roared a terrible roar of pain, anquish, love and his dominance all at once.  He knew he was the most powerful of all the apex dragons.  Even Ye Hua wasn't quite as powerful.  He knew this.  Even as powerful as he is, he knew he was powerless to stop anything.  It was out of his hands from the very start.  He put his head down on his desk and cried.  Bai Qian was beside him and was about to talk to him when Dijun came walking in with Xue and Si Ming.
