I gulped with fear, knowing who it was. I straightened up my body and shivered when I heard the familiar voice.

"Miss me?"

Your Pov:

I couldn't dare to turn around, let alone move a single muscle in my body. My breath hitched when his cold, slender fingers touched the back of my neck, his body still pressed against mine. "Pl- please don't... don't hurt me." I whispered with trepidation.

"Shh...shut up." he said, his voice sounded sinister. Slowly, his grip tightened around my neck, his other hand gripped my waist and forced me to turn around and face him.

"Scared?" he asked, his minty breath fanned my face and his piercing brown eyes looked directly at my soul.

Yes I am, I'm terrified. I thought.

When I didn't respond, he gripped me tighter and leaned closer.

I closed my eyes shut and pressed my lips tightly. His lips slightly touched my ear and he murmured,"Darlin' you've got no idea what you're doing to me."

DaRLinG?! This mAn haS gOt sOme SeriOus mEntaL IsSues. I thought.

Seconds later, I completely lost his touch. His boots made clacking sounds against the floor and then I opened my eyes to find him walking away from me. I sucked in a breath I didn't knew I was holding for so long.

I speedily rushed down the stairs and found my friends sitting in the dining area. I took a seat next to Jolene and they looked at me with pure confusion seen on their faces.

"Why do you look so pale, dear?" Beth reached out for my hand from across the table and caressed it.

"I crossed paths with Benny Watts." I said.

"What did that little weasel do now!" Jolene hissed with anger.

"He didn't do anything." I replied too quickly and Beth narrowed her eyes at me.

"Trust me, he didn't do anything." I assured her.

"If he tries to do anything, I'll shove my foot up his fucking arse." Beth said and we all broke into a fit of laughter. "What?" she giggled.

"Nothing." I laughed.

"You know I can do that for you, right?" she said. "Yes, I'm sure you will." I giggled.

We had a lovely dinner and then we went back to our shared room.

"So, did you check the timetable for tomorrow's matches?" I asked Beth.

"Yes, I did. My first match is against someone called Harry Beltik. At 10am." she said as she kicked off her high heels and smiled happily as she placed her feet flat on the wooden floor.

"Great, we will be there." I smiled. Later, I helped Jolene to paint her nails and then we went to bed by 11 pm. Beth was still working on chess, reading books and playing while sitting in the bathtub, taking a nice bath.

Time skip to next morning:

Your Pov:

"Get up! Dumb bitch!" Jolene shook me violently. "Arghhh let me sleep!" I whined drowsily. "It's 10 am already! Don't you wanna go with Beth?" she said in a sing song voice, knowing that I would wake up easily.

"Fine, but I'm ruining my beauty sleep only for my precious friends. Make sure you make me a nice cup of tea coz I ain't going downstairs looking like a sleepy bitch." I said and Jolene chuckled.

"Fine, I'll make you some tea." she said.

I dragged my body out of the bed, brushed my teeth, took a quick shower and put on some simple yet elegant clothes. "I'll go downstairs in the auditorium, the match will start in ten minutes, be there before that." Jolene said.

After she left the room, I gulped down my tea, put on some light mascara and lipstick, put my hair up in a nice ponytail and grabbed my bag. I carried some cash, my diary and my makeup in it.

"Let's go." I mumbled and locked the room.

The corridor was eerily calm. Not a single soul in sight.

I sighed and started walking towards the elevator, this hotel is huge. Some clacking sounds of boots behind me made me stop and turn.

"Who's there?" I called out, trying to sound brave.

Sighing heavily, I started walking again and just a couple of seconds later, I heard those footsteps again. Someone was definitely following, maybe pulling a prank on me. Could it be Benny? I thought.

Stopping once again, I turned around. Found nobody.

I spun on my heels and walked faster, I looked behind a few times. Just as I was about to turn around the corner, I bumped into someone and fell on my butt. Ouch!

All the objects from my handbag scattered on the carpet.

"Y/l/n, can't even fucking walk properly!" Benny hissed as he rubbed his chest and yanked me up.

Wait... he's here then who was following me? I thought.

"Hello! I'm asking you something bitch!" Benny snapped his fingers at me.

"Yeah, what?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't fucking roll your eyes at me. Where are you going?" he asked.

"To the tournaments, Beth's playing today." I replied, not wanting to deal with him anymore.

"Ah, the chess girl! She's all over the media. Good. Atleast one of your friends aren't as pathetic as you are." he smirked.

"Stop saying that. You're nothing but a sad excuse for a man." I mumbled in a very low voice, almost a whisper.

The next moment I was banged against the wall, his long fingers wrapped around my neck and the cold metal ring on one of them caused goosebumps on my body.

"You shouldn't have said that." his grip tightened and I lost my breath. With one hand holding me against the wall, his other one touched my body, tracing all of my curves, my hips and my waist. "Benny! Get away!" I gasped.

"Mhm, but don't think that you'll get away with this." he whispered in my ear.

"Do you understand?" he asked.

"Do you?!" he raised his voice slightly.

"Y-yes." I said.

As he let go off me, a couple of tears escaped my eyes, I didn't know why I was crying. But my neck definitely had his hand prints.

I took a deep breath, crouched on the floor and picked up my belongings that were scattered. Benny stood there, his hands were in his jacket pockets and he smirked.

I wiped away the tears aggressively and ran away to find a bathroom. I need to cover up my neck.

Benny's Pov:

I watched as she got up and ran away. But she left something...

I crouched on the ground and slid my hand under the nearest table which had a flower pot on it. Hmm, a diary...

She didn't see it when it slithered under the table.

A sinister smirk plastered on my face and I thought.I'm going to use this against her.
