Your Pov:

I stepped back, the last time I bumped into a drunk Benny, I came home with a busted lip. He's rude, but he's violent when he's drunk.

The closet was too small, filled with brooms, cleaning liquids, disinfectants and a couple of buckets. I refused to make any sudden movement, I know his strength.

"What are you going to do?" I put up a brave voice. It was quite difficult to see, my eyes were still adjusting to the darkness. All I could hear was his faint breathing.

I felt him coming closer, I stepped back slowly. My feet bumped against something, I felt something against my hip too, it was a table.

"Shut up, kitten." he said. His fingers brushed against my lip and his other hand held my waist. The cold ring on his finger made me shiver again, just like always.

I leaned back, he was too close, his breath smelled like a mixture of mint and alcohol. He placed his hands on the either side of the table, the distance between us was too small, maybe just a few inches.

"Don't call me that." I said firmly.

"Shh, I can call you whatever I want. You're mine...aren't you, love?" he said.

"Benny, you are drunk! Step away from me." I placed my hands on his chest to create some distance.

"You like it when I do this, don't you?" he gripped my wrists and held them behind my own back.

"Step away or I'll scream."

"No, you won't. I like you..." he said.

Please don't. What the hell is wrong with him? You thought.

By this time, I was able to see everything clearly. I was scared...

Calm down y/n, he's just drunk. Forget what he said, he would probably forget it by morning...hopefully. You thought.

I flinched when his hand slid under my shirt, his fingers were warm against my cold torso. "Get away! Stop touching me you git!" I said. I don't want to be this afraid little girl anymore. With all my strength, I raised my knee and kicked him in the balls.

"Aghhh, BITCH!" he fell on the floor and knocked over the buckets placed closer to him. I took the opportunity and yanked the door open, then ran back to my room.

"He's going to be furious, isn't he?" I asked Beth who was sitting on the couch, reading the daily newspaper.

She sighed, I was talking about him since morning. She folded the newspaper and placed it back on the little table. "Y/n, stop thinking so much. You're probably going to die of over thinking. You stood up for yourself, not once...but twice. You should be proud of yourself, not scared of him."She assured.

"Come on Beth, it is not that easy for her...let's just go out and chill. You've won the championship and all three of us are going back to New York tomorrow." Jolene said.

"That's a good idea." I smiled.

In an hour, we got dressed and went downstairs to have lunch.

I was still thinking about last night. Whatever he said...it was just a lie.

Somehow I couldn't tell my friends what he had said. But I can't hide this from them for a long time.
