Waking up in the morning was always an issue for me. Sometimes I wish I could just sleep in. But today, things are going to change, I have to be prepared for what is going to come.

So I groaned and whined as I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

By the time I was ready, Beth was yelling at me from downstairs saying that we were going to be late. I rushed down the stairs and quickly ate the pancakes that she had made and drank a nice cup of tea.

Then we took a taxi to the NYPD headquarters in New York. I was taken to my room by Agent Parker who apologised for snapping at me yesterday. He had a kind smile on his face and Ms. Wright was already waiting for me in the room.

"Tell us more, y/n. Anything you would like to." said Parker.

"How about I tell you how to find him?" I said.

"You know how to find him!" Ms. Wright was shocked, her jaw was about to drop on the floor.

"Yes, only if this works." I said, pulling out the piece of crumpled paper from my coat pocket.

"What is it?" Agent Parker asked as I handed him the paper.

"It's his number. But it will only work once. So if you want to catch him, whatever it is, should sound convincing to him." I said.

"What you have given me today is a very fantastic lead Ms. Harmon. We need to plan this perfectly. Wait for a minute, let me get my team here." he said and left.

I nervously fidgeted with my thumbs and went deep in thought.

Was this right?

"Hey, what is it? You seem really nervous today?" said Dr. Wright.

I didn't answer her and she put her hand on my knuckles, rubbed them comfortingly.

"Once this is all over, I'm sure you'll be able to find someone who truly loves you." she said.

Anger boiled inside me and I was about to pass a snarky comment but we were interrupted when a team of fourteen officers barged in the room, all of their faces looked dead serious.

"Ms. Harmon, this is my team. And I'm sure you're ready to plan this with us." said Parker.

I looked at each of their faces and smiled.

You can do this Harmon.

"So, how do we start?" I questioned.

"Since this will only work once, I need you to convince him to meet you at a place where there aren't a lot of people. We don't want to take any risks. He could do anything. Besides, you will be accompanied by my men and as we get the opportunity, we'll capture him before he tries anything." said Parker.

"As if he's going to waltz in and hand himself over when we're surrounded by your guys." I scoffed.

"That's right Harmon, he won't. He's not that foolish and I've already thought about it. All of them will be going undercover, dressed as common folk. We'll stay close by and you are going to give us the signal when you're ready." he said.
