I took a few steps and closed the distance between us, "Listen up y/l/n, I'm going to be honest with you because no one else will. Any guy who says he's interested in you beyond just fucking you, is full of shit. Cause you're so fucking boring!"

Benny's Pov:

"Go ahead, ask him why he's here. I'm sure he just wants to fuck you." I said.

Y/n looked at me with hurt in her beautiful eyes, she just stood there, frozen, it's just that her lips were trembling. She was speechless but the man behind her spoke up.

"Okay, I agree that I took her out so I can get some action. But whatever, I'm just gonna leave." he made a disgusted face at Y/n and walked away. I smirked and she turned her gaze to the floor, she was...crying? I heard her soft sigh before she spun on her heels and went towards the stairs.

Fuck Benny! You messed up real bad this time. I thought.

Your Pov:

I didn't know what I was feeling. Sad or angry? Absentmindedly, I climbed up the flight of stairs and went to my room. Beth was asleep but Jolene kept shooting questions at me.

How was it?

It was terrible.

Did you two kiss?

Yes we did, until someone decided to ruin it all.

But I kept it all in.

"He was a nice guy. But it was just a casual date, nothing more than that. It was nice to meet him." I said. And this is how I lied to my best friends...again.

Jolene was genuinely happy for me, she gave me a nice hug and then I went to take a shower.

I turned the faucet, warm water instantly hit my back and washed all the feelings away. My body trembled, his voice echoed in my brain, it was like a permanent mark on my soul. I never thought a person like him could affect me so deeply and shatter me inside out so easily.

Little by little, I let it all out. I cried my heart out...again. Why do I let him do this to me? I stifled my sobs so that my friends couldn't hear me. I don't want them to know.

An hour later, I quietly came out of the bathroom, got changed into my pajamas and slipped under the warm sheets on the bed. By this time, Jolene was asleep too. My diary was kept on the nightstand, I got it and started writing.

Dear diary,

He's right. I'm boring and I don't deserve it. I want to prove him that he's wrong, but I can't. Because deep down I know that I don't deserve to be loved.

I wiped away a solitary tear that escaped my eyes and closed the diary. Sleep was overcoming my senses, I placed the diary back on the nightstand and turned off the lamp.

*Time skip to next morning

Beth's Pov:

I woke up to the sound of my stupid alarm ringing in my ears. I threw a pillow at Jolene, she was sleeping closer to the nightstand. "I swear if you throw anything at me again, I'll shave all of your beautiful red hair." she said groggily.

"Oh come on, Jo, don't be rude." Y/n said. She was already on her way to turn off the alarm.

"You're awoke early!" I was astonished to see her sipping a cup of tea, looking all fresh. She never wakes up early.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Yes, I did."

"So, how was your date?" I asked.

"It was cool. But now I want to go home." she smiled.

She seemed sad and I thought of talking about it later. As far as I know her, she needs to clear her mind of all those thoughts and I'm exactly going to help her in doing that.

"Jolene, wake up! Let's get our bags packed and then we can go shopping before catching the flight back to New York." I said.

"Really!!!!" both of them squealed in unison and I nodded my head. We then got our bags packed, checked out of our room and went shopping for an hour or so. Then we went to the airport and boarded the flight. "Aren't we sitting together?" Jolene frowned when she saw the tickets and found out that our seat numbers weren't exactly beside each other.

"Aw, you can sit with Beth, I'll sit on that one. I want the window seat anyways." y/n said. She winked at Jolene and went to get on a seat that was in the last row of the airplane.

I rolled my eyes and dragged Jolene to our seats. "I know you love window seats but you can't get the seat and your friend as well. Come on, I know you love me."

I pushed her down on her seat and then she smiled genuinely. "I love you both bitches."

Your Pov:

I got a perfect place to spend the next six hours. We were still waiting for the passengers to get seated so I minded my business and looked out of the window. It was quite cloudy this morning, It would surely rain in sometime. The faint traces of sunlight were fully gone, the sky looked majestic with dark clouds and I remembered how much I loved dancing in the rain when I was just a little kid.

"Nice view huh, y/l/n."

I flinched at the voice that whispered in my ear. My breath was hitched when I saw him sitting beside me. What is he doing here?

"Why are you here?" I spat.

"Looks like I got a seat beside you." he smirked.

Looks like it's going to be a long ass journey.
