Kaede POV

"Nyeh, you know what we all need." Himiko grinned widely as she stood up on her desk and did a little twirl. "A little relaxation before we begin studying for our entrance exams and finals. I got 10 tickets to a mystical bath house in the magic forest! It's got a magical lake that'll give everyone magical abilities.That's why you've all been called here. My magical guild of allies." I looked around at the other 8 people she had decided to invite.

Tenko, Shuichi,Angie, Maki, Rantaro, Yuri, Gonta,and Kaito. Kiibo was peaking at us from outside the classroom. I felt bad for him but doubted he could actually swim in the lake. Is that robophobic? Kokichi spotted Kiibo and smiled evily. The poor robot whined and ran off. Thankfully Himiko did this on purpose so Miu could make her move on Kiibo when we were all gone.Shuichi bonked Kokichi on the head.

Rantaro was going on the trip so I was excited about that.

"Since our break is a two weeks long I got us tickets for one week. We'll all begin studying our souls away our second week off." Himiko cringed.

"Studying is very valuable Himiko. You don't want to fail your exams do you?" I asked crossing my arms and looking at the stressed out mage.

"But it's boooooooooooooring."Himiko whined.

"I agree studying in boring." Kokichi said leaning on Rantaro's shoulder. Once again Shuichi aggressively bonked him. It was as if someone else was curious about their relationship. They were super close. I blushed thinking of the infirmary again. Maybe I wasn't sure overreacting. I decided to be extra observant on the trip.

Rantaro POV

It took a while to get the actual location of the bathhouse Himiko invited us to. She wouldn't stop calling it "maaaagic" and hidden. So we didn't find out until the day of the trip. The bath house was at Lake Kawaguchi on Mount Fuji. The bath house was a lot nicer than the one before and seemed more comfortable.

We all ended up sharing a giant suite together that had 4 rooms.Since there were five guys and five girls we all agreed it was best to divide ourselves by sex. Yuri was pissed beside she wanted to share with Kokichi but quickly cheered herself up and demanded she room with Kaede. In the end the girls in room one were Kaede, Yuri, and Angie. Tenko and Himiko were stuck together like glue and roomed together.

Kaito and Shuichi ended up picking the biggest sticks when we decided which of the guys would room together. Even though I wanted to be alone with Kokichi I knew rooming with Gonta would be fun. Especially knowing he'd collect bugs. Kokichi would never admit it but he hated bugs. So it would be fun seeing him panic. Gonta also had a sweet singing voice and could serenade us to sleep. Kokichi definitely wasn't happy when I brought this up.

Later in the day we had a picnic by the lake for dinner. Himiko demanded Kaede and me to collect her order from a restaurant. But Shuichi also tagged along. I could tell he couldn't stand the idea of me and Kaede alone and would constantly follow us. I had a feeling she didn't know about his feelings or care.

When we got back Angie forced us to pray before eating. Kokichi and Yuri then launched verbal attacks on Angie. But she didn't really seem to understand and saw it as playful banter.

"So what's everyone doing after we graduate. I'm going back to an American school called Yale. I'm going to study art there. I was going back to my island, but maybe I can spread the word of Atua!" Angie clapped her hands together. Gonta's eyes widened.

"Gonta is going to Yale to! I'm studying biology." Angie looked like a kid waking up on Christmas. The two of them immediately broke out in conversation in American. I didn't understand any of what they were saying but Kokichi seemed amused. Shuichi must've also known what they were saying and was watching them stunned.

"Well I'm thinking of moving near the school and continue working at the cat cafe. I'll collect money and gain a social media following. Once I do that open up a hair salon or maybe use my links to Hopes Peak to be on tv." Yuri shrugged. Everyone looked at her in wonder. She was super ambitious and I could tell she fully believed in herself.

"I haven't really heard from any music schools...but maybe that'll change after exams." Kaede smiled.

"Don't you want to go to university near Rantaro." Kokichi asked wiggling his eyebrows. Both me and and blushed.

"Actually she should go to college near me. We are childhood friends after all." Shuichi said looking down. Kaito spit out his drink onto Kokichi who was glaring. Kaito began laughing super hard before he was attacked by Kokichi. "What are you going to do Rantaro?"Shuichi asked me aggressively.

"I'm still not sure. Probably travel for a bit. Some of my sisters are still out there and some are at home. Though the come and go by themselves now. Hopefully I'll only take a gap year." I smiled.

"And are you planning on settling down anytime soon? Any future job ideas? Any plans to do anything than be a lazy ass-"

"Calm down Mr. Detective you sound like a dad." Kaito said pulling Shuichi off me. But he did have good questions what was I going to do.
