Heartbreak

Third person POV

"I heard that he's a cuck. He wanted to impress his girlfriend who was cheating with that emo boy." Two girls whispered in the courtyard as Kokichi approached.

"Isn't she pregnant?"

"Probably by that emo guy."

"Feel bad for the green haired guy. Never notice him before but he's pretty hot."

Kokichi knew they were speaking loudly about him on purpose. Especially since he'd been getting in fights with people who asked too much questions. He spotted Rantaro talking to Angie and Gonta as he walked into the school hallway. Two large twins approached him. The ultimate bodybuilders. He sighed and faked a smile.

"Hey there little fellow. Was wondering if we could pose for some pictures taking by your girlfriends baby daddy. We know how much you love to get guys to pose for you."

"Hey guys stop leave Kokichi alone." Rantaro said walking in between Kokichi and the two large guys. Kokichi ignored all three of them and walked over to Yuri who was watching Kaede quietly. Their friendship was completely demolished from the rumors and it appeared Kaede completely abandoned her. Yuri was hurt because Kaede was one of her only true friends.

"Hey honey." Kokichi smiled at his small girlfriend. She smiled weakly and grabbed his hand.

"Hey Kokichi. Want to get out of here? I'm getting sick of this." She sighed. Kokichi nodded and began walking with his girlfriend to the front of the school. Suddenly Rantaro grabbed his hand and stopped the two. They both turned around confused. Yuri was pissed off and Kokichi was just scared.

"I need to talk to you now." Rantaro said dragging Kokichi away from Yuri. She watched as the two walked off stunned. Shuichi walked over to her and patted her on the back.

"Don't worry. Rantaro has to give up someday. And I think today he'll finally move on. Just give them time to talk." Shuichi said. He wasn't sure if what he was saying was true but he sure hoped it was.

Rantaro dragged Kokichi to the roof of the school. He looked around to make sure no one was on the roof. Kokichi pouted at him feeling anxious. "What did you want?"

"I want to know why you lied? About the photo." He also wanted to know how Kokichi felt about him. But he didn't mention that.

"I was helping you out stupid. Do you want everyone to think you're gay?" Kokichi asked tilting his head trying to act innocent. It was obvious by now that Rantaro loved him. Kokichi loved him back but could never say that. Especially now that Yuri was pregnant.

"I am gay!" Rantaro screamed not really caring. "Are you seriously telling me you haven't realized that yet?"

"Oh I'm so happy for you." Kokichi smiled.

"Cut this fake act Kokichi. I know that you're probably bi or gay too. All that stuff we did together couldn't have been fake." I replied angrily.

"Well I'm not gay. You need to move on and forget this delusion of yours. Just leave me alone you freak." Kokichi said coldly before leaving Rantaro alone. Seconds after he left Rantaro turned to were two girls were hiding. It was obviously they snuck on the roof during the conversation.

"I know you heard all that Himiko and Kaede." Rantaro said turning to the girls who were hiding behind a wall on the roof. They peeked out and awkwardly waved.

"I... have to go I'll see you both around. But let me just say that you're way too good for him. Great avocado lord." Himiko said before running off. She left him alone with Kaede.

"So you know now about me and Kokichi?" Rantaro said awkwardly looking at Kaede.

"Kind of hard not too." She tried smiling. "He was really brutal to you just now."

"I'm sorry about everything. I never expected that I would cheat on you with Kokichi. Or that I'd realize that I'm in love with him."

"It's ok." She said not even hiding the fact she was sad. " I just wish things didn't turn out so horribly. In the end everyone got hurt really bad. But we'll all work through this." Kaede smiled and pulled Rantaro into a comforting hug. He knew that despite everything they had a bond that would last forever.

When Rantaro got home he felt incredibly sad and tired. He tried everything he could to calm himself down. He tried texting his sisters who were at private school, and talking to another one who lived at home. But despite his conversations with them he didn't feel any better. If anything he felt worse. He just wanted to escape and forget everything.

That's when he spotted his huge map on the world on the wall. He looked at it remembering how he felt finding his sisters. Six circles were placed all over the globe. He smiled to himself and began to pack his bags. Maybe he should get lost for once.
