Jungkook slept in the bathroom the night we drank wine, he didn't drink very much and I got drunk making me laugh at this 'scary' show we were watching. I offered that Jungkook and I just do edibles or something the next time, and I left him with a pillow and blanket laying on the tile floor.

The week went by pretty slow but it was like a blur, I can only really recall Professor Jin telling us that we had to present our projects in case we weren't aware, which i wasn't. Taehyung hadn't been to class all week, it was like he just never existed except the only proof I had was that his seat beside Namjoon was empty and one of the only empty seats in the large room.

Thursday night Jungkook announced to me over pasta that he was going out of town to have some test work done on him in New Jersey. I told him how I'd probably only work on my project and watch Leonardo Dicaprio's Romeo and Juliet a million times until I could memorize it, despite Namjoon bringing up the parties a few times.

When I awoke on Friday morning Jungkook was already gone, he went to school early to get his assignments for the day so he could catch the early train to New Jersey. I lazily got ready and just pinned my hair up to go to the Luna Café, I just liked being there Taehyung or not.

I had all my stuff this time and just sat at a table with my laptop, opening it to my notes on my math class and saw that Jungkook had been in the document and was putting some explanations there and I just giggled. When I got my cup of coffee, Taehyung or Stella weren't there, I thought until I heard Stella say my name. She was behind the counter actually making the coffees.

"Josie!" She almost startled me when I received my card back from the older man working the register.

I smiled at her. "Hey Stella."

"Do you want to go out for drinks tonight?" She went straight to the point.

"I'd love to!"

She grabbed the receipt as it printed out and slid it on the table to meet her pen that scribbled, then she handed it to me over the counter. "Here's my number! Text me so I have yours."

I nodded, taking the paper and looking at her number scribbled on it underneath 'Stel' and a messy flower.

I wondered if Taehyung had just up and left town, especially when I got to my third class of the day and he was missing yet again. I just made my typical small talk with Namjoon and then walked home alone. I wondered if my phone was broken and that's why he hadn't even called me or texted me. I decided I'd call Jude and talk about everything.

When I got home and the call ended I texted Stella, telling her that it was Josie and I was excited for tonight. She answered back. 'You can bring Jungkook along.'

'He's out of town.' I responded.

'Dang, okay. The Dead Rabbit at 8?'

I liked her message and sent her a 'sounds good'. I wanted to call Jungkook but I didn't know what he was doing, and him answering any time is not very common.

I watched Romeo and Juliet only once then decided to get ready for tonight. I listened to music on our speaker, Jack Johnson, which my family constantly played. I was reminded of being back home and I was starting to realize how different my life is now. If I was still at Laguna Beach I would be coming in from being on the beach with Jungkook and then Yoongi would come over for dinner and we'd all watch a movie near a fire on my back patio. Here I was now about to go to a bar in New York City with a girl I met this week.

When I got there she was already there so I made my way to where she was and climbed into the seat beside hers, she had her bag in the seat on the other side of her. She pulled it out when I sat down. "I was saving this for you!"
