"You can wear this." Taehyung said while putting down a neatly folded sweater, ribbed navy sweatpants were already laid underneath.
We got out of the bath when we heard loud noises coming from down stairs, the party had finally moved here. I'm sure Jungkook was confused as to where I went and I just wanted to go to sleep right now with the headache that I had. Taehyung was already pulling the covers down, his record player was cut off.
I dropped the towel from my body and put his clothes on, adjusting the baby hairs that had fallen down from me sweating in the bath behind my ear. "Will you stay here tonight?"
I nodded my head, looking on his bedside to see if there was any bottles of water I could drink but of course there wasn't. "I'm going to run down stairs and get some water."
"I can go." He said extremely quick.
"No, I'll go. Do you want something?"
He shook his head and ran a hand through his hair, contemplating something before walking my way. "I'll just come with you."
"Okay..." I said with hesitation.
He pushed the door open and we walked out, I crossed my arms over my chest because I wasn't wearing a bra and my nipples were hard from being cold right out of the bath. I saw the side of Jimin's head and a drink in his hand as soon as we started walking down the stairs, he was headed our way upstairs and we were about to meet in the middle.
When his head turned around, it fell back laughing at the person that was behind him but his smile instantly went away when he saw me. "Josie, what are you doing here?"
"Um-" I started. "Taehyung and me were just hanging out."
"What's with the clothes?" Jimin's body was completely still and he eyed Taehyung, but his eyes jerked back to me as soon as Taehyung returned the glance.
I hated the way I felt right now, awkward and uncomfortable, even though I had no reason to. "She spilled wine on her dress."Taehyung's words came out just as his hand went to my lower back, giving me a little nudge to keep walking downstairs.
When we reached downstairs the whole house was packed, people I knew and some I didn't. I just pushed through the crowd to get to the kitchen and Taehyung kept his fingers on my back.
He grabbed us new cups from the top shelf and I realized he was right earlier, this house was better when no one was here. I looked to where I had been sitting earlier and leaned against the counter was Stella, perfect. I bet Jungkook is nearby.
But as I looked around I couldn't find him.
"Here." A cold empty glass hit my arm from Taehyung but I barely even noticed, my attention being on trying to find Jungkook.
I walked away to head straight for Stella, only one thing on my mind. "Where is Jungkook?"
She looked at me like I was a ghost, something so foreign. "What are you doing here, Josie? He went home when we left the club because he thought you were there."
"Did he drink anything?" My heart was beating really fast, she couldn't have answered this question any slower.
"Yeah, he said he wanted to do celebration shots."
"Shots?" I said.
Taehyung stepped behind me, holding the now full cup of water out to me. Stella spoke but I was already pushing past Taehyung to leave. I heard him saying my name but I was already running, yanking open the door.
I got down the street and all I could think about was Jungkook being sick and alone. I pulled out my phone and called him, my hands shaking as it rang. There was no answer and my mind went to the worst.
