"I really thought I was going to pull up to this alone." Stella said, holding onto Jungkook tightly as I stood on the other side of him. "Or I was going to bring the old guys who hit on me from the bar."

I couldn't help but wonder if she was saying this to get a reaction from Jungkook, one that she didn't receive and I knew she wouldn't. "You know like everyone at these parties." I said.

She laughed, leaning into Jungkook. "There's always a new group here. I always say I'm just going to come and get the feel of everyone here but the boys always make it fun and get me drunk. And anyone can have a good time drunk."

I stepped in front of them to open the front door to the house, gulping as I prepared myself to probably see Taehyung. Even worse, see Taehyung with the girl he recently decided he was in love with.

Over ice cream with Jungkook I told him what was said to me, previously all he knew was that Taehyung had said something out of pocket at the studio. When I told him the actual words Taehyung had said he implied he knew something was up, that Taehyung acted too cold to genuinely feel for me the way I thought he had. This came from Koo's protectiveness of me, not from a clear mind. Jungkook didn't know the other things Taehyung said to me, the secrets he shared with me, how he acted when it was just us two alone, how he had told me he liked me at the gallery.

"I didn't want to bring it up, but Johnny...who lives here...his girlfriend is having a big ball for her 22nd birthday. I wasn't going to say anything to wait for you to get the tickets, but I realized there wasn't really a way for you to know about it-" I heard Stella's words but wasn't registering what she was saying, my eyes were on Andie and the people standing around her. To my suprise, Taehyung wasn't around.

I walked away from them and over to where Jimin was standing beside Namjoon, not saying anything as I joined the group gathered around the center island with drinks in their hand.

"Are you going to play the next game?" A random guy said to me.

When Jimin looked at me now beside him, he gave me a little smile that wasn't genuine. Namjoon was the only one with real joy and it came out when he spoke. "Yeah she is!"

"What am I playing?"

Jimin slipped back from the counter and I tried not to pay mind to it, but I had to when he walked away. I wanted to chase after him and apologize but I knew it wouldn't hold much meaning. Taehyung was private but they were still friends, Jimin probably knew about this other girl and how much of a clown I looked like.

"Flip cup." The random guy said. "Boys against girls."

I saw Jimin join the other side of the counter, where the boys were suppose to line up and now I was standing with girls I had only seen in class or never at all. "What is the consequence?"

"Finish the bottle." Namjoon pointed to the bottle that had a good bit of shots left in it, it didn't seem that bad of a punishment for all 5 of us girls to finish. Maybe 2 shots each.

Before I knew it, the game had started. Jimin was lined up directly in front of me and we were passed the turn at the same time. He made eye contact with me and chugged his beer like it was water, nothing keeping it from sliding right down his throat. I tried as hard as I could but I wasn't as fast.

When I set the cup down to begin my rounds of flipping it, Jimin already had his sitting up and the next boy was chugging his beer. I was still trying to flip my cup when that guy finished and the boys team only had one left. Without any hesitation the guy chugged his beer and flipped the cup, it landing exactly how it was suppose to in this game.

The girls yelled and carried on, I went along with them but directed mine at Namjoon who was pointing at me and laughing at me not being good at this game. I went to lots of parties in Cali, but Yoongi usually just played the games and he was really good so I just watched. Since Jungkook couldn't drink we were sober together.
