The amount of glasses of champagne I had been through just on the second floor was almost embarrassing, and I had lost Namjoon. I think the whole group of us lost him. One of Taehyung's roommates Johnny had joined my side because his girlfriend couldn't be here tonight, he was also completely sober and thought the jokes I was making were really funny.

By the time we got to the section of the gallery that was portraits, almost everyone was either buzzed or drunk. I wasn't blackout drunk but I had definitely let loose and didn't feel so weird about a picture of me being hung up for lots of people to see or potentially buy.

I was admiring all of the other pictures, all of which were a completely different style from Jungkooks, but not nearly as good.

"Isn't that you?" A girl nearby said to me, pointing to a picture at the end of the hallway.

I looked where she was pointing and the photo of me was up, Jungkook hadn't even seen it yet. I started on my walk over towards it and some of the group followed. When Jungkook's attention was finally on the piece he didn't look happy, he looked confused. He walked closer to it and turned to the man that was talking to someone about another piece.

I joined his side to see what was going on, Stella on the other side of him. "What do you mean the piece already sold?"

"The maximum price you put was offered and so it was sold." The man turned away from Jungkook to keep on with the sale he was trying to make.

"By who? Can I know who bought it?" Jungkook asked, almost concerned.

I wasn't sure if it was the confusion that someone just paid money for something he made, or if someone had bought a drawing that was of me. The man pointed to a corner of the small section of the room we were in. "That guy did. There is no refunds and no going back on-"

I wasn't even listening to the rest of what he said because all the blood in my face was now gone, Taehyung was sitting alone on the bench observing the other people in the room.

Jungkook was just as shocked as I was but he stood where he was, I made my way to Taehyung. I sat down beside him and tried to keep my composure as I talked. "What is this all about?"

"What is what all about?" He looked straight at me and with my face close to his I could smell the wine on his breath, both of us having alcohol in us didn't result in anything good.

"You buying Jungkook's picture of me. What is that?"

He chuckled and pushed the hair out of his eyes, talking a little quiet. "I don't like the idea of your picture being in someone else's house."

I physically moved my head back expressing how taken aback I was, wondering how much truth was in his words. "Why not? It's just a picture. You have another one anyways."

"So what's one more?" His eyes were squinted, almost trying me.

"You don't have the money for that. I just don't understand why you did it." I crossed my arms over my chest and I felt Jungkook staring at me, but I didn't feel uncomfortable in his gaze. I knew he was probably waiting for me to give him the answers we both wanted.

"I told you why." He was faced forward but was giving me a side eye, trying to read my face.

"Where did you get the money?" I asked him straight up.

I couldn't help but feel relieved that he didn't go to the ballet with someone else, but I felt like him buying this was him mocking me. "Bea wanted to go and I worked out a deal with her shit for brains boyfriend that if he bought them from me I wouldn't press charges for our fight."
