"So your family is really big?" Jimin asked, picking up his sandwich and taking a bite.
He was almost finished with it and I had barely eaten any of mine, I wasn't very hungry. "Yeah, do you have siblings?"
Jimin shook his head and wiped his mouth with a napkin, getting mayonnaise off his lips. "No. I'm an only child."
I pulled a chip out a bag and began to just barely nibble on it. "I wouldn't like that. Jungkook's an only child-"
"But he grew up with your family, so it's like he had a big one."
"Right." I said and then put my hands in my lap. I liked being around Jimin but there just wasn't a spark here or anything and I was afraid I was on this date just because I wanted to get Taehyung off my mind but it wasn't working. I kept thinking about him. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, what's up?" Jimin said. He was cute, beautiful really.
Before I could say anything I saw him looking at the door to this restaurant and his face lost some of the color, so I followed his eyes. Taehyung was walking into the door with a girl I'd never seen before. She had long light brown hair like me but hers was completely straight unlike my wavy hair.
Taehyung looked directly at me and I could see his tongue run over his teeth inside his mouth, looking towards the cashier after. The girl he was with saw he had looked at me and reached forward to grab his hand but as soon as hers brushed his he crossed his arms over his chest.
He had sunglasses on the top of his head pushing the front of his hair back and off his face. I had my attention pulled from him when Jimin coughed a little and spoke. "What were you going to ask me?"
My original plan was to ask him something about Taehyung but I had to change it, now really wasn't the time. "Is it weird if I bring left overs to the party?"
He laughed slightly and shook his head, taking the last bite of his sandwich. "No, you can put them in my room."
"Okay, thank god. I ate lunch really late." This was true. Jungkook didn't go to school and Namjoon was in the library in between classes so I didn't go to get lunch, I just ate when I got home from dance.
"I didn't know you guys were here!" Taehyung said and pulled the chair out of the table beside ours. His date was close behind him and sat across from him giving Jimin and I a look like we were getting on her nerves.
"Is that sarcasm?" Jimin asked him, returning the annoyed look to Taehyung.
Taehyung nodded once and picked up his unwrapped sandwich. "And this is a sandwich."
I looked away to try not to laugh because he was being a clear asshole but the joke was funny. This really made the girl he was with mad.
"Well we were just about to leave." Jimin stood up and folded up his trash into his hand. I watched and then did the same. "I'll see you at home if you guys make it."
Taehyung nodded to him and then looked at me, staring at me until I looked away. There was a lot of tension in the air until we exited the building which is when I realized I had been holding my breath.
"I told him I was taking you here. He showed up just to be an asshole." Jimin said and looked at me.
I gave him a little smile knowing how annoyed he probably was. "Well it doesn't matter now. And there's going to be so many people at this party that we won't even see him."
"He'll make himself seen." Jimin said with a laugh but I know he was being serious. "Did you not like your sandwich?"
I shook my head quickly and held the bag up. "I wouldn't have brought it with me if I didn't like it. I bet Jungkook will really love it."
