I think I stared at the broken exhaust fan for a while.
My mind wandered further, but I have no idea where it has gone. Like it was swallowed by a massive black hole. It traveled to nothingness.
I think I can clearly hear the noise around me.
My heart feels heavy and hollow at the same time. It is still beating, I am still breathing, but it feels the opposite. It seems as though a havoc is occurring and I cannot stop it nor do anything about it.
Something thwacked my head and I started falling.
It stings.
"Today, I opened my eyes and I'm still here," I whispered to anyone who could hear, seeking for anyone who would heed. "I'm beyond sick and tired of this fucking snake pit."
