TAFLAM 23. STEVE SECRET

XENA POV

SHE CLAPPED her hands as he finished singing. She force herself to smile kahit hindi iyon ang nararamdaman niya.

"Thank you."

"for what?"

"thank you for granting my request," It may be my last request from you.

pakiramdam ko kailangan ko ng itigil kung ano mang nararamdaman kong ito para kay raven. Dahil pag tumagal lalo lang ako masasaktan, lalo lang ako aasa.

"Where's chloe," It's better to divert the topic kaysa sa ganitong tahimik naman kami at nagkakapaan kung sino ang mauunang magsalita.

"Maybe helping mom, to prepare the foods."

"If we didn't go here, magkasama sana kami ngayon ni chelsea magce-celebrate ng christmas sa clubhouse." Paris is my dream destination pero ngayon na ho-homesick na ako.

"It's your dream place, why don't you enjoy it. Habang nandyan ka pa,"

"yeah, what's time is it there?" I wanted to be the first one to greet him a merry christmas before 12 o clock pass.

"It's still 11: 50 here, ten minutes before christmas."

Marami pa kaming na pag-usapan at lahat ng iyon ay ako ang nangungunang mag tanong sa kanya at doon lang siya sasagot. I looked at phone and watch the world clock it say that two minutes before christmas, so i started to count on my head while were talking.

"Kuya!" I heard chloe's voice outside of raven's room calling for him, but raven doesnt mind it.

"I think chloe's outside and she's looking for you?"

"Don't mind her. She just want to annoyed me." I was about to speak when its tita voiced who call raven and his grandpa next.

Tuluyan na ngang na buksan ang pinto na siyang nagpatalikod kay raven para hindi ko makita ang lolo at mama niya.

"Is it that important to you who's your calling with, for you not to greet us or even wait for us outside?" Hearing what his grandpa said makes me feel sorry for raven. Ng dahil sa akin nagalit tuloy ang lolo niya sa kanya.

Instead of listening and hearing raven lolo angry for him, i end the call and let out a sighed.

I'd even forgot to greet him a merry christmas.

STEVE POV

It's 11 o clock here in the philippines i wanted to be the first one to greet her before twelve o clock pass. I tried to call her but she's on the other line.

So, i'll wait. Habang lumilipas ang oras ay nawawalan rin ako ng pag asa na maunang bumati sa kanya. I tried many times hanggang sa matapos ang tawag niya sa kung sino man.

Bakit kasi ang torpe torpe ko. I want her to be my girl pero makausap lang siya ng malapitan ay dinadaga na ako. Sa sobrang kaba at lakas ng tibok ng puso ko pag malapit siya ay nakuntento na lang ako na makita siyang masaya. Kaysa naman kausapin siya at tiyak na mabubulol lang ako sa sobrang kaba. 

When i first meet her ay umibig na kaagad ako sa kanya. Her smiles can light up my darkness world. Her presence make me nervous but happy at the same time.

When she give me gift on my birthday i really treasure it, na inilagay ko pa ang relong regalo niya sa glass, wag lang madumihan. I became her stalker and admirer at the same time. I left flowers and imported chocolates in her locker every valentines, even there's no occasion, wherever i go somewhere i bought something for her that reminds me of her.

I refuse my father plans for me just to be with her. I witness every milestone in her life but she doesn't know about it.

flashback....

I was exhausted that day when i go home but feeling happy and proud to watch her claiming her crown as a queen.

I felt like a proud boyfriend looking and cheering my girlfriend when she ramp on the stage, as if she own it.

She hold the mic as if she don't want to let other to hold it, she answer the question given to her like a veteran queen.

A queen who knows how to help others, when one of the contestant fall on the stage she immediately help her without second thought. A queen that makes his heart pound faster.

"Son, i have good news for you," dad said when he see me walking to his direction to give respect.

"What is it, dad?" he let himself sit and serve himself a food to eat. Ginutom siya kakasigaw but it's still worth it, lalo pa kong par sa babaeng mahal niya.

"You passed the intrams exam with scholarship in Stavros Academy in US." I should be happy but i am not. I don't want to leave her, i don't want to be away without her. And accepting my father plans for me mean losing her. Then i must turn down my father plans for me.

"I don't want to go there, anymore." Alam kong nagulat si daddy sa naging pasya ko, pero pinili niyang wag magsalita at ngumiti na lang sa akin.

"Is she worth it?"

I smiled. "yes, dad."

"then, if she that worth it, fight for her till the end. Dalhin mo narin rito sa bahay ng makilala ko naman." I smiled and walked at his direction and hug him. I proud son that i have a supportive daddy and bestfriend even though i don't have a mother to take good care with me.

"Thank you, dad."

He tap my arms that hugs him. "Your much welcome my son."

End of the flashback......

The clock is tickling, i let out a heavy sighed, two seconds left before it hit twelve o clock. I press the call button to facetime her and thank God he heard my prayer when she answer my call.

"Merry Christmas," I said and when i  looked at the clock, i was the happiest person when it hit twelve o clock exactly when greet her a merry christmas.

"Merry christmas, Steve." It's a music in his ears, ang sarap pakinggan ng boses nito na habang binabanggit ang pangalan niya.

"Did i disturb you? are you busy?" God he's nervous.

"No! I'm actually happy that someone greet me exactly twelve o clock. I'm really happy steve." Napuno ng saya ang puso niya sa sinabi nito. It's the best gift that he ever received this Christmas.

"What time is it now, in there?

Her faced saddened but still give the best smile later. "It's five am here. Seven more hours before it hit Christmas."

"Asan sina tito, tita your sister?"

"Asa labas na sila at busy na ang mga iyon kakahanda." Actually kanina pa siya tinatawag na bumaba pero hindi niya kayang patayin ang tawag.

"Then, go down stairs and celebrate." She's so thoughtful that's why I really like her.

"I'm still talking to you. By the way where's steven?. I haven't greet him, yet."

"He's on his room, busy with his lovelife."

"Oh, please greet him for me. I end this call now. Again, merry Christmas, Xena." He watched xena wave her hands and greet him a merry Christmas once again.

He let out a sighed when the call ended as his door opened and a smiling shena appeared on his sight.

He don't know why his heart skip all he heard was a loud thump of his heart. What's happening to him? It can be he's in love with xena and not with shena.
