You pull out your phone, and step away from the ledge for a moment. You message anyone you figured would care a quick goodbye.
You stared at the message as it sent to Eret.

and with that, you hit the dial button.
He picks up almost immediately.

"Y/n listen to me, it's going to be okay, i'll be there as soon as i can."
You slowly start to cry, hearing his voice say it'd be okay.
"I promise i'll be there soon. Just stay on call."
He keeps assuring you that he'd be there soon, and you knew somewhere inside of you that he would be, but it felt like, well in your brain, it felt like he'd never show up.
"Y/n i'm here just— i'm going to hang up, i'll be up in just a second hang in there, alright?"
You give him a small 'mhm' and he hangs up.
Within just a minute, he'd bolted up the stairs to see you, a crying mess on the roof.
He runs to you, and wraps his arms around your waist from behind.
"Hey, i'm sorry i didn't get here sooner, i did as soon as i could."
He whispers in your ear, and you turn around to face him. You put your head on his shoulder (or chest, depending on your height 🧍)
"I-i'm sorry..."
You mumble softly, and he shakes his head.
"No, no you're fine, i'm here. I've got you."
He slowly sways back and forth in a way that comforted you.
This wasn't how you intended to spend the last few hours in the day, but it ended up being that way.
