You look up in panic when the red diffuses itself and the bomb destroys half the building. Your ears are ringing, and everything seems to be moving in slow motion.Then you see Wanda, her hand over her mouth in dreaded shock. "Wanda! Wanda, I'm coming!" You shout to her, and struggle through the people running away. You finally reach her, and her eyes are brimming with tears of regret.
"I- I did that." She says stunned and terrified, and you calmly wrap your arms around her and hold her tightly.
"You didn't mean to, it wasn't your fault. A lot more could've been hurt, you saved them Wanda."You push her hair out of her face and take her hand.
"You saved them, okay?" You mutter into her hair.
"Just remember that it isn't your fault. This isn't your fault, okay? Don't blame yourself, love, please." She crumples to the ground and you rub her back, humming softly calm her down.
