𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄 Rory being nervous about asking you to dance

When you walk into the room, in a stunning yellow outfit, Rory has no idea what to do. She desperately wants to ask you to dance, but she's also afraid of you saying no. She glances over at you, briefly making eye contact with a shy smile before turning back to her mom.
"What do I do?" She asks quietly, and Lorelai gives her a reassuring smile.
"Go." Rory gives her mom one last look before walking over to you.
"Hi." She says, wringing her hands.
"Hi, Rory." You say back with a smile. Rory's insides feel like a thousand butterflies, but she figures out a way to get the words out anyhow.
"Do you want to dance?" A smile spreads across your face, and you nod.
"Yes." She takes your hand, and leads you to the dance floor.
"I thought you'd say no." She states quietly, and your smile fades for a second.
"I could never say no." Rory smiles again, and happily wraps her arms around your neck.
"Well, good, cause I don't think I could've lived with myself if you had said no."
