A silent tear streams down her face as her throat closes up. She's ready to say goodbye to her life with the doctor, because losing you... that was it. She loved you, more than she ever loved the doctor.
"I'm so sorry, (y/n). She whispers to herself, before walking into the tardis. The doctor's face is dark, his jaw set in determination.
"We're getting them back, Martha." He says, still staring intently at the console. Her hand flies to her mouth faster than she could open it. She slowly removes it from her mouth, barely allowing herself to believe what the doctor just said.
"Are you serious?"
"Completely. I just recieved a transmission. They have (y/n), and they're still alive." Martha jumps up and down, a laugh of complete joy escaping her lips.
