"Tony, it's the only way. They want me, not any of you. If I go out there first, posing as bait, it will open a window for you all to get in there and put the operation to an end, go it? Don't let Steve stop me." Unluckily for you, the captain walks in just then.
"Are you nuts?" Looking from Tony to him, you sigh.
"Yes, but I need to do this. This whole mess is my fault, and it's up to me to fix it." Steve looks incredulously at Tony.
"Are you seriously going to let them do this?"
"Uh, yes, actually, I am. Doesn't mean I want them to, though." Steve looks at you again, and you can see the worry in his eyes.
"Please don't worry, darling, I'll be fine." You link your hand with his and he looks away from you.
"You can't just tell me not to worry. I'll worry no matter what."
