Y/N woke up and rubbed his tired eyes, yawning while doing so. He sat up and stretched the weary muscles in his body. Ever since Garnet had agreed to train him, he had consistently been keeping up with said training, his body now looked a lot more muscular than it used to be.

"Can't wait for what today has to bring!" He said with a smile on his face.

He proceeds to get out of bed and do his usual morning routine which takes less time than usual because of how excited he is for today. He doesn't know why he's excited but today feels like it's going to be a good day.

He leaves the house with a kick in his step as he made his way to Little Homeschool. It didn't take him long to reach the outskirts of the very familiar gem town and waved at the familiar gems he saw from Garnet's classes.

Sooner than he expected he reached the centre of Little Homeschool, not much was happening so he decided to sit on a nearby bench and bask in the warm of the sun.

Just as he's about to relax into a more comfortable position a shrill voice talks to him. "Y/N? What are you doing here so early?" Pearl said as Y/N looked towards her.

"Well I'm waiting for Garnet as usual and thought I'd come and chill here." Y/N said simply as Pearl sat beside him.

"She's in a geminar as I'm sure you are aware." She said which Y/N nodded.

"Yeah, she shouldn't be too much longer now. I'm hoping she gets a break soon, I might take her somewhere." He said debating whether to tell Pearl.

"Oh? And where would that be?" Pearl asked, now interested in what he had to say.

"Well ... I wanted to do something special for her ... I was thinking of having a romantic dinner with her somewhere, just not 100% sure where." Y/N said.

Pearl cringed a bit at the mention of food but would still support him none-the-less. "Well ... if its to do with food, why don't you do it at the top of the light house?" She said which made Y/N sit up quickly.

"That's a great idea Pearl!" He started with a smile. "But I don't have the keys to the light house ..." He sighed as he sat back down.

"Don't worry I've got you covered." Pearl said as she reached into her gem and retrieved some keys. "Just be sure to take Garnet when no one else is there." She finished with a wink.

"Pearl you're the best!" Y/N said as he hugged the slender white gem next to him. "Just ... don't tell Garnet ..." He chuckled as he released Pearl from the hug and took the keys out of her hand.

"Yes well ... I hope it goes well for you." Pearl said as she stood up. "I need to get to my next geminar now so stay safe." She said as she looked at Y/N.

"No prob. Hope it goes well and thanks again for the help!" He said as he waved goodbye to Pearl.

Y/N sat on the bench by himself waiting for Garnet, not that he minded, he was happy if she was. Although Y/N didn't notice, Garnet was sitting on a bench further behind him, trying to think of a way to tell him that she's a fusion.

"Okay okay, what if ... we show him at the temple?" Ruby said as she was desperately trying to think of a way to tell him.

"No, the others will be there ... how about we show him at the bottom of the lighthouse?" Sapphire calmly replied.

"Y-yeah, that could work ... should we do it now?" Ruby said as she held her wife close in Garnet's mind.

"Yes. Don't worry Ruby, you've seen the future, he'll accept us either way." Sapphire said as she leaned into her wife's loving embrace.
