Chapter 42: Baby Shower

Y/n woke up in the loving arms of his tall, strong, and beautiful girlfriend. "Heyyyy ~" He said, rousing Garnet from her sleep.

Once the sleeping beauty was awake, all her eyes looked upon Y/n. "Good morning my love, how did you sleep?" She said, leaning down and kissing her boyfriend on the forehead.

Y/n giggled. "I slept wonderfully, how about you and Sophie?" Y/n asked, moving his hand to stroke at Garnet's belly. It had been a couple of days since Y/n and Garnet spoke to Steven, they were happy with how well he took it. 

"She's almost ready to come out, I think she's getting impatient." Garnet chuckled as she rested her hand on Y/n's, closing her eyes again and she held Y/n close.

The two snuggled for just a little bit longer under the sheets, feeling comfort and joy within the warm nest they created. Sadly, all great things must come to an end. "Garnet, I think we should get up ..." Y/n said as he gently shook his lover, coaxing her to open her eyes.

Garnet simply grumbled and turned away, trying to stay asleep. "Come on Garnet, what if I made you breakfast?" Y/n bargained, causing Garnet to sound a hum of interest.

Y/n thought for a moment, trying to think of something else that would entice her to wake up. "A-and I'll give you a foot rub!" Y/n said, sweetening the deal.

"Okay okay, I'll get up." Garnet chuckled as she sat up, leaning against the bed frame.

"I knew you would." Y/n said, kissing her cheek and getting out the bed. Before he went downstairs, Y/n got changed out of his pyjamas, earning a whistle from Garnet as she watched him strip.

Y/n giggled as Garnet continued to tease him as he got changed but soon ran downstairs and started preparing breakfast for his beloved.

Y/n threw together a hearty breakfast, it was a simple eggs on toast with a glass of orange juice. While it was simple, she enjoyed when he made her things, so when it was finished and plated, Y/n placed it all on a tray and brought it up to Garnet, who was resting against the bed frame.  

"Here you go! Some eggs on toast! Is that ... okay?" Y/n asked, hoping she'd like it.

"Its perfect." She responded with a smile as she started to eat the plated food. "So, about that foot rub." Garnet said with a smirk.

Y/n laughed a bit before he pulled up a small chair and sat at the end of the bed, placing his hands on Garnet's two feet that poked out from under the covers. "I love you Garnet." He said as he started rubbing her feet, trying to ease the ache that she started feeling due to her carrying the baby.

"I love you too." Garnet said as she continued to eat the delicious food while receiving an amazing foot rub from her lover. "Oh! That feels great!" She commented as Y/n started to focus on only one foot at a time.

Y/n smirked as he lowered his face down and placed gentle kisses on the bottom of Garnet's feet. "Hahha! St-stop it! That tickles!" Garnet laughed as Y/n continued to kiss every inch of her feet, tickling the strong gem warrior.

Soon Y/n decided to stop the vicious onslaught, giving Garnet the chance to finish her food. "Did you enjoy that?" Y/n questioned as he sat on the bed, next to her. 

"Yes, it was delicious." Garnet smiled as she placed the tray on the bedside table, then pulling Y/n into a tight hug.

"I'm glad you did, is there anything we're doing today?" Y/n said, nuzzling into Garnet's neck.
