Chapter 40: Check Up

Garnet woke up the next morning feeling much better than the previous night, it was the worry about what would happen when she told them she was pregnant and more importantly, the truth about Rose.

She tried sitting up but found herself unable as she was locked within her lovers embrace. It was strong and warm, instead of getting up she accepted it and snuggled closer to her human lover. Garnet didn't know what time it was but that didn't matter as she held Y/n close, returning the embrace. 

After a while had passed, Y/n's eyes slowly drifted open. " Oh! Morning Garnet!" He said with a smile, kissing Garnet's nose. "How did you sleep?"

"I slept fine, the little one wasn't as active last night and I was with my handsome lover ~" Garnet flirted, kissing his nose in return. 

The two of them held each other close a little bit longer, before reluctantly sitting up and getting ready for the day. Garnet didn't have to get changed but she did decide to get some breakfast, the little one had started getting hungrier.

When Garnet was in the kitchen making her food, Y/n snuck up behind her and wrapped his around around her belly. "So, have any plans for today?" Y/n asked, kissing her cheek.

"Yes actually, I plan on seeing Mrs. Maheswaran to check on how the pregnancy is going." Garnet responded with a smile and she finished making the eggs on toast, placing them on a nearby plate.

"Oh, maybe after that we could ... y'know, have a bit of fun ~" He teased, rubbing his hands on her belly and slightly further down.

"Y-Y/n ..." Garnet moaned slightly. "B-but I'm pregnant ..." She said.

"So? I'll just be extra gentle with you ~" Y/n teased some more before finally pulling away and letting her take her plate to the table so she could start eating.

"Maybe I'll take you up on that offer then ~" Garnet teased back, eating the food she had cooking. Surprisingly, Garnet had become quite the cook since she became pregnant, it helped since Y/n wasn't always able to cook her meals.

Y/n chuckled. "What time were you thinking of seeing Mrs Maheswaran?" He asked, ready none-the-less.

"Probably in an hour or two, its still pretty early so don't have to go yet." Garnet responded, eating the last few bites of breakfast she made. 

"Well, what do you want to do now then?" Y/n said as Garnet placed the plate in the sink.

"Hmmmm ..." She hummed. "Why don't we watch a movie?" Garnet suggested, pulling Y/n up from his seat.

"Okay okay, I'm coming." He laughed as Garnet pulled him in the living so they could snuggled up on the sofa. Once they were nice and warm together, Garnet turned on the tv and started watching a movie together.

The couple walked into the hospital, it didn't take them long to get there as it was fairly close by but once they did, the two walked up to the counter. "We're here to see Mrs. Maheswaran." Y/n said, holding onto Garnet.

The receptionist nodded and typed into her computer. "She's in room 117." She said, looking at the room list in front of her.

"Thank you." Y/n replied, waling with Garnet down the hall.

They were quick to find the room and just as quick to open it. "Ah, Garnet, Y/n, come in." Mrs. Maheswaran said putting the clipboard down and gestured for Garnet to sit on the bed.
