Chapter 18: Surprise Visit

Y/N opened his eyes yawning as he looked around the room. Looking to his left, he found himself to still be in his lovers embrace. Smiling he leaned up and kissed Garnet's cheek which caused her to smile.

"Morning Garnet." He said, keeping his smile as he sat up on the bed.

"Good Morning love." Garnet said as she sat up.

"How did you sleep? Especially after last night ~" He flirted, standing up and sorting out the clothes he would wear.

Garnet chuckled as she had really enjoyed last night. "I slept great, maybe we should do that every night ~" She teased him back and in response Y/N chuckled at what she said.

While Y/n was getting dressed, Garnet took the opportunity to cook breakfast, she used to do it for Steven every now and again so she thought it couldn't hurt to do it again. It didn't take her long to create some pancakes for her lover, and as she predicted, he came down just as they were plated.

"Wow these smell great! Did you make them for me?" He asked.

"Of course, eat up." Garnet said with a smile. Y/N returned the smile but before he started eating, he walked over to Garnet, giving her a deep and meaningful kiss.

"Honestly Garnet, what would I do without you!" Y/N chuckled as he sat down and started eating the delicious pancakes.

"I could same the same about you." She replied with another smile as she watched her lover eat all of the pancakes she made.

There was a nice silence that lingered between the two as Garnet continued to watch Y/N eat every last bite of the breakfast she had prepared. Before long the plate was empty. "Whew ... Garnet those were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!" He said as he put the plate in the sink to be washed later.

"You're welcome." She said as she stood up and gave Y/N a tight hug in the centre of the room.

Before the hug could last any longer Y/N's phone began to play a familiar ring tone. "I need to get that!" He said as he separated from Garnet and picked up the phone.

"Hey Mom!" He said with a very wide smile. "How are you?" He asked.

"Hello sweetheart, I'm doing good." YM/N said. "Me and YD/N are coming over to visit, is that okay?" She added.

"Yeah that's perfect! You can meet Garnet while you're here!" Y/N responded happily.

"Who's Garnet?" She asked with interest.

"Well ... she's my girlfriend, you're gonna love her!" He replied with his smiled somehow getting wider.

"Oh how cute! I can't wait to meet her but I'll see you in a little bit. Love you." YM/N said.

"Love you! Bye mom!" Y/N said as he ended the phone call and turned to Garnet.

"My parents are coming over tonight and I want you to meet them!" He said as he still had a wide smile.

Garnet pondered for a moment. "Are you sure ... its just that I don't really look all to human ..." She said.

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll be fine ..." He started as he edged close to her. "besides ... you know how to have a good time ... like a human." He flirted as he ended up laughing.

"Oh stop it you ~" She said as she blushed.

 The two of them soon started working on each of the rooms in the house, mainly the kitchen as that's where they'd be eating together but it didn't take them to long for the house to be really. Y/N decided he would cook up some more spaghetti for the four of them, apart from it being the only thing he knew how to cook, it was delicious none-the-less.
