»Hmmmm~« you hum with a full stomach.
»This food was the best!«

»I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was pretty good indeed« Zhongli says, wiping his mouth with a tissue.

»So, y/n..« he unsure starts, »how should I behave towards you/people regarding the current situation?«

»Well.. first of all just don't talk about it. Leave it to me when people ask me why I don't remember them or something. I'll find something to say to them« you say, thinking about it.
»Second of all, stop spending so much mora on me. I don't know how to pay that back somewhen. Third-«

»But I never said you have to do that« he interrupts you.

»THIRD of all please don't- wait, what?!« you look at him with a shocked face.

»I have enough mora. I have a close friend who always pays me more than I need«

»WHAT?!«

»We have.. a contract. Let's put it this way. Anyways, what did you want to add?«

»I-I..« you pause, »I forgot. But who is that dude??«

»You'll probably meet him soon enough when we two meet up more often. And since we basically live together right now, that shouldn't take long.«

You shriek at the thought of sleeping in a bed with him again. But then you remember that it probably won't become a problem because he has kind of troubles with his own feelings since he somehow doesn't really know how to act around humans in general.

»That's.. so weird..« you mumble to yourself

»What is?«

»Uhh nothing! Just a thought..«

You notice that it was already getting late. You still felt a little bit nasty because you slept outside in the dirt - and were still dirty and sweated from lecturing Zhongli today.

You secretly smell under your armpits and nearly faint.

»Well, that should be everything for now, ehe« you awkwardly say. »And I'm going to take a shower now probably...«

»Okay. I'll clean up here in the meantime« he answers.

"God I hope he didn't smell me" you just think to yourself as you get going.

You place your fresh clothes and a fresh pair of towels, one for your hair and one for your body, on the small counter next to the shower cabin.

Because of all the excitement for a hot shower you directly undress yourself and hop in the shower.

You turned on the tap and started to clean yourself.

But little did you know, the door wasn't fully closed.

Zhonglis POV

"okay, first of all, don't talk about it, Second of all.. unnecessary" Zhongli thinks to himself while cleaning up the table. The bed was also kind of messy, so he also cleaned that up.
He was about to go and brew some tea now since you two didn't had any yet, but then realizes.. the door to the shower was open a few centimeters.

He stops at where he is and sees you through the small gap in between the door and its frame.
He looked at you up and down - your h/l, h/c hair, your legs, your back..
»huh.. uhm..« a weird feeling came upon him. He didn't quite know what it was, nor what to do.

In that moment you turn around - And see Zhongli looking at you through the gap. For a few seconds you just stand there, frozen, before then turning bright red with a shock on your face and immediately slamming the door close with a wind current.

He didn't really know if he did something wrong, he wondered why you looked so shook. "Wasn't it normal for people to shower, not caring about who might see them? Is that.. a big deal to humans?" He thinks to himself.

»Well, eh-ehrm, back to what I was doing...«

When you were done showering, you put yourself your fresh clothes on and rubbed a little bit of glaze lily powder on you, trying not to think about what just happened.
»D-did he really saw me.. NACKED?!?« you scream internally, looking in the mirror and noticing that you were still red like a tomato.
You really didn't want to leave the bathroom anymore. But you had to somewhen anyways.

»Alright alright, calm down y/n. Just act normal as if he didn't see you. Maybe he didn't anyway. We can forget about that........ and close the door better next time« you tell yourself before stepping outside.

Fresh and smelling good, you come out of the bathroom and see Zhongli with a tea cup in his hands sitting on a chair, looking out the window. It looks like he was blushing a bit, but it was already dark outside, so was the room more or less, so you couldn't properly see it.

»I'm done! Ahhh I feel so refreshed now!« you tell him, stretching and yawning a bit already - trying to sound as relaxed as possible as if nothing happened.

He looks at you, admiring your dress somehow.
»Here, I brew you some tea as well. Do you want it?«

»Uhm, yes sure, thank you!«

You sit down next to him and look out of the window with him.

»Does it make people uncomfortable if someone sees them taking a shower?« he asks, looking at you.

All your confidence faded again with that sentence. Like.. a fart in the wind you could say.

»UHhhh....« you look away from him immediately. »I- don't you know obvious things like that?!!? What is wrong with you??!« you bark back at him embarrassed.

»I-I'm sorry, y/n. I...«

»No I mean let's be honest, why do you behave like.. I don't know what ?! and ask things like "do humans do this and that, do people like.."???«

»y/n, listen.« he says, leaning over to place his elbows down on his knees and bringing his hands together. »There are things which I can't tell you right now. You'll understand that yourself somewhen. I'm sure of that.«

You just look at him, having more than one question mark flying over your head.

»You're just.. really weird. That's probably why you're still my friend, because I am too. You know, weird, crazy, ehe....
I'll get used to that!« you smile at Zhongli.

»Well, it's already late« you interrupt, »Let's go to bed. Tomorrow is another day. Aaaaand I decided to come with you to work tomorrow!!« you smile even brighter at him.

»What? But...«

»Im sure it won't be a problem!!«

»..If you insist«

You jump up and hug Zhongli from behind.
»Thank youu! It's gonna be great!«

You then slowly slender to bed, yawning and covering yourself with a blanket.
After some time Zhongli joins you and lays down on the other side of the bed.
He notices that you're already asleep.

»what.. was that today? And why does your company  give me such an.. unknown feeling?« he quietly asks himself.
He then turns around to face you.
"she looks so peaceful sleeping.." he thinks, watching you for some time.

»Alright, then. Good Night, y/n«
