Venti says and pats your back.

You, Venti and Zhongli found a nice place under the huge tree in Windrise - sitting, talking and laughing about things, but most importantly talking about what will happen soon.

»I'm just saying..« you mumble. »I mean.. there was This red haired guy.. Diluc! When I came back here, he.. he recognized me but.. he was so.. sad or disappointed, just walked away and sent me to you.. that's why I'm worried that the others might react the same way-«

»Huh?? You already met Diluc? Why didn't you tell me? And- Ohh.. now.. I understand..« Venti says, slowly wrinkling his forehead.

»W- What? what is it?« you say. You also notice that Zhongli now sharply looks at Venti all of a sudden since you mentioned Diluc's name.

»I.. ehe..« Venti says with a sweaty smile. »It's.. difficult to explain, ehhrm.. well but if he sent you to me.. y/n, do you really don't remember anything with Diluc..?«

»Wait, what do you mean? No I-«

»What happened between them?« Zhongli suddenly interrupts you with a low-key angry voice, still looking sharply at Venti.

»That's... what I was worried about« Venti awkwardly says. »Uhm... I think it would be better if you talk with Diluc about it-«

»HEY« Zhongli now aggressively shouts, his eyes beginning to glow.

»ZHONGLI« you now shout back and grab his shoulder. Zhongli's eyes stop glowing and he flashes around, looking at you. »calm down please« you mumble.

»Venti.. I'm sorry. But please just tell me what happened«

»O- Okay.. fine. Well... before you left Mondstadt.. things were.. different, you know. We all were such close friends - or even more like a family, but you and Diluc.. you two were.. even a little more than that..«

»WHAT?!« you spit out, looking at Venti with your eyes ripped open.
You look at Zhongli instantly and see his eyes and hair glowing again - his hands formed into fists. You quickly grab his arm before he was able to stand up and try to hold him back from doing something stupid.
»Zhongli!! Oh my!! Calm down! That was the past, it's not like it anymore!« you whisper loudly and sigh.
»E-Ehrm, okay.. thank you, Venti. I, uhh.. I understand..«

»Uh- Uhm, yeah... well, that's probably the reason why he was so.. distant. But I'm still sure that even he will understand what happened to you and will accept the way it is now!« Venti says.

»Can I be sure of that?« Zhongli asks Venti in a serious tone.

»I mean.... I think so« Venti says, again with a sweaty smile.

"MMMM ZHONGLI" you think to yourself. It was all in the past, why would he be so aggressive about it?
»Well, however, we have to attend the meeting with everyone soon, let's head back to Mondstadt before we're too late!« you interrupt the discussion.
