Finally, you're back at the hostel. Slowly you open the door to your and Zhonglis room - but he was already there. Sitting on the bed and holding up his head in his hands. He looks so.. helpless?

You enter the room and close the door behind you.

»Zhongli, is something-«

»where have you been?« he looks up to you.

»I- I-« you didn't want to make any excuses anymore.
»I was with Hu Tao. She told me everything about this.. thing on my neck! without her, I probably wouldn't trust you right now, I know that you have something to do with Childe! So, tell me. When is he going to take this thing off? What did you two talk about today??«

»y/n...« he sighs.
»soon. Before that.. I have to make myself a mind over a few things. But I promise you that you don't have to worry about it anymore. He also won't hurt you with it anymore.«

»why soon?? And why do you have to make your mind up about it?? This doesn't has anything to do with you!«

»yes, well, still. Please, y/n, I need you to trust me«

You don't quite know what to say or do now. Your mind tells you to NOT trust him, but Hu Tao...

You say, sinking down on a chair next to you.
»If all of this is somehow going downhill and it's your fault, then-«

You look at him, still finding him and what he says suspicious.
The sun's still out. You need to get your head clear, so you decide to go for a walk.

»I'll leave. I need some time for myself.. I'll be back somewhen later« you say as you stand up and head to the door.

Suddenly, Zhongli's standing in front of you, blocking your way.
»Hey get-«
»take this« he says, handing you some sort of.. a round crystal? »If you get in trouble, just press down on this stone and try to reach me. I can see where you are then and come to help you.«

»uh- okay, but I'm sure I won't need it. Thank you for your concern. Now please..«

Zhongli gets out of the way, you walk out the door and run outside.
You decide to walk a little bit through Liyue Harbour, but only on the safe paths since Childe creeped up on you last time in some alley.

While you walk, you look up and admire the beautiful sky. The sun slowly starts to sink, and it was full of pink and yellow colors. Clouds pass the scenery from time to time and the first stars already are noticeable now.
You decide to sit down somewhere at the entrance of Liyue Harbour - on the edge of the bridge of it.
The wind blows through your h/l hair and it smells like.. a really nice spring evening.

»Even though you pushed me away, I'll find you again and get answers to my questions, brother. Wherever you are, whoever you are by now.. I still believe that..«
You notice tears running down your cheeks.
»That, that somewhen we'll be reunited again!!«

You watch the sun set, slowly but surely, another day went by, full of unsolved mysteries and troubles.

»Oh lord barbatos, please guide me..«

»You believe in barbatos huh?« a known but hated voice creeps up behind you.
Quickly you jump off where you've been sitting and go into a defensive position. There he was again, that man you hated so much.

»what do you want?« you bark, furiously looking at him.

»heey heey calm down! I'm here to apologize, ojou-chan« he answers with a charmant smile.
