When a God falls for you [Zhongli x Reader]

You can't hold her hostage forever~

You slowly turn around to see Zhongli standing a few meters away from you, his arms crossed and his sharp eyes looking directly at you.

»I,, uhhhh...«

As Zhongli starts walking towards you, you rip the door open and run outside. You feel like you're running for your life. You turn around to see Zhongli running behind you, catching up to you more and more.

»I'M GOING TO MONDSTADT, IF YOU COME WITH ME OR NOT!!« you scream.

But then you suddenly crash into something - or more like someone - it was Childe.

You fall down in the grass, but Childe is already there to pick you up and puts you behind him protectively.
Zhongli stops in front of him, glaring at him.

»Let her go and give her to me.« Zhongli says angry.

»Oh, I'm not holding on to her, if she wants, she can go back to you, but it seems like.. she's rather running away from you? How come?« Childe replies.

Childe sounds much maturer than you thought he was since he kidnapped you, but you still don't quite trust him.

»Tsk. She doesn't know what she's doing - she's hurt, I have to be there for her.«

Childe turns around to look at you and notices Zhongli's mark on your neck.

»What?! I thought-« Childe's eyes show how shocked he is about you carrying a gods possession mark.

»Yes. I also didn't believe that it was possible, but it apparently is. The wound is still not healed, that's why I have to take care of her-« Zhongli wants to say, but you interrupt him.

»Ugh shut up you two! I'm doing completely fine, I don't need any help!! I just want to get to Mondstadt and...«
You look down on the ground. »..neither of you understand! I don't care what you two want to use me for, I'm going.«

You turn around and want to leave, but Childe suddenly grabs your arm.
»Heey hey! Don't be so dramatic, we can talk about this« he says, spinning you around and holding you against him.

»LET ME GO« you shout aggressively.
You're tired of people acting like they own you.

»CHILDE« Zhongli's also now aggressiv voice makes Childe and you tremble.
He steps forward and grabs Childe by his collar which quickly lets go of you.

»He-Hey, I didn't do anything to her and I also didn't intend to, Zhongli, calm down.«

You watch Zhongli hold on to Childe for a few more seconds, his hand formed to a fist and his eyes furiously glowing at his.
He finally let's go of him again, but still glaring at him.

»You don't have the right to touch her like this.
If I witness something like this again, I won't be that merciful, remember that.«
Childe only nods, then looks over to you who's standing there without moving an inch - and giving you an apologetic look.

»I'll get going then. Goodbye, y/n« he says, then turning to Zhongli. »and you should remember that you can't hold her hostage forever. Sooner or later she'll realize that.. I've seen what she's capable of.«

Zhongli and you look after Childe till he disappears behind a hill. Then Zhongli turns around and walks towards you, you're scared that he might take you with him again so you step back, indicating that you don't want that to happen.

»I swear if you come any closer to me I'll-«

But he's already there, standing in front of you and... hugging you tightly. Even if you're mad at him and don't want it, this hug gives you such a comfortable and safe feeling that you can't help but just let it happen.
