You wake up from Zhongli saying your name.
»y/n, we're there, wake up« you can hear him say, still a little unclear.

»Hmm?« you murmur, squinting your eyes. As you fully open them, the first thing you see is Zhongli's handsome face looking down at you.

»Look!« he softly says. You look around and realize that you two are standing in front of Mondstadt on a Bridge.
You're so shocked that you nearly fall out of Zhongli's arms, but he catches you right away again and slowly puts you on your feet.
»Are you okay?« he asks, still holding onto you.

»Y- yeah I'm fine, thank you! But.. did you just carry me all the way here?? How-«

»Don't worry, it wasn't that far. But what counts is that we're here now, let's go and search for the tavern first« Zhongli smiles and takes your hand. You slightly blush and follow him to the entrance gate where two soldiers stop you.

»Halt! Who are you two? Wait..... Traveler! we didn't expect you here! You were gone for such a long time!«

»I.. I know. But I'm back, finally« you awkwardly smile. »and this is my companion Zhongli. He's no harm«

»I see. Well then, welcome back honorary knight, and welcome Zhongli«

"H-Honorary knight??" You ask yourself. You heard this name before, we're you once called like that?

»Thank you, Mister.« Zhongli says and enters Mondstadt with you quickly following him.

»I was called honorary knight! Can you believe that?« you ask Zhongli in excitement.
»I do. Who knows, maybe you saved Mondstadt or its people at some point« he smiles.
»Man... I really need to know what happened to me. Let's go and search for the tavern, come on!!« you shout, looking stunned around - Mondstadt is really a beautiful place.
Zhongli follows you and you two make a walk through Mondstadt.

»Look! That looks like a tavern! That's probably it!« you shout at some point and point to a small house.
»If we're really going to find these people here? What do you-«

»y/n?« you suddenly hear an unfamiliar but at the same time really familiar voice say. Zhongli and you turn around and see a black - turquoise haired boy with green eyes standing there, looking at you. His face shows shock and happiness at the same time.
»Is it really you?!« he says smiling more and more as he steps forward. He falls into your arms, laughing and a bit crying as well.
»We thought you were.. gone, forever!«

»V- Venti?« you say unsure, not moving an inch.

»Yes? And who is this man you brought with you-«
Venti stops and freezes for a second as he realizes that Zhongli looks really familiar to someone.
»are you-« Venti slowly says, but you interrupt him.

»That is Zhongli, my companion, don't worry he's a nice guy!«

»Oh...« Venti mumbles. »Well however, since you're back y/n, how about we and your new friend-« Venti says, but you cut him off and decide to tell him what happened right away to avoid awkward questions.

»Listen, You... Are we two.. friends?« you ask.

»Huh? What do you mean? of course we are friends! Don't you remember the last day before you left us - what you said to me?«

You sigh. »That's.. the problem. I.. don't.. I...«

»y/n, what are you saying-«

»I've lost my memories. I don't know why, I don't know how. I nearly don't remember anything from here... please.. I need your help. Your voice and your face are so familiar to me, but...«
