As the Bad Batch breached the Shie Hassaikai Compound, the raid had begun. Inside the compound, Jiro and the rest of the Bad Batch formed up around Hunter as he took lead.

Hunter: Everybody check your corners. Don't let anything get the drop on you.

As Hunter gave his orders, the Bad Batch began moving through the compound. Jiro kept herself composed as she followed the Bad Batch deeper into the compound. They soon heard the sound of the fighting inside.

Jiro: Looks like the Pros got in.

Hunter: Stay focused, Echo. The Shie Hassaikai could have some surprises hidden around here.

Following Hunter's instructions, she kept her eyes open as the Bad Batch moved through the compound. Soon enough, they came across a locked door. Hunter immediately picked up multiple signals from the other side of the door with his Electromagnetic Sonar Quirk. He gestures to Tech and Jiro. Tech used his Chart Quirk to see what was on the other side while Jiro pierced the wall with her Earphone Jacks to listen in on their conversations.

Tech: I'm picking up 9 armed Yakuza members on the other side.

Hunter: That shouldn't be a problem. What about you, Echo? What are you hearing in there?

Jiro: Sounds like they're preparing to move several shipments of the Quirk Destroying Drug out of the compound through some kind of underground labyrinth. They're waiting for some kind of extraction team hired by Overhaul.

Hunter: Then I guess we're going to have to let ourselves in. Wrecker, set the charges.

Wrecker laughed as he sets an explosive charge on the door while everyone else prepares for the breaching maneuver. Once the charge was set, Hunter gave the order and the door was blown open. The Bad Batch swarmed the room and took out the Yakuza thugs inside. Once the room was cleared, Hunter looked around the room.

Hunter: Something's not right. This is too easy.

As Hunter said this, rumbling could be felt. What followed was an uneasy moment of silence.

Jiro: What was that?

Wrecker: Sounds like a good fight is happening!

Hunter: Easy, Wrecker. We still got a job to do.

Hunter looks around and sees several crates. Hunter walks over to one of the crates an opens it, revealing it to but full of vials containing the Quirk Destroying Drug. Upon seeing this, Jiro was deeply disturbed.

Jiro: They...they had enough of this stuff to take on every Pro Hero in Japan....

Hunter: Not for long.

Hunter then nods to Wrecker. Wrecker then pulls out several thermal detonators and tosses them near the crates. Crosshair walks over to the window and surveys the battle occurring outside the compound with his 773 Firepuncher Sniper Rifle.

Hunter: How's it going out there?

Crosshair: Looks like most of the Regs got inside. There's a group of them pinned down.

Hunter: Give them some covering fire while we wrap things up in here. Tech, see if you can get on that computer and find out about those underground tunnels.

Tech then begins hacking into the computer. Doing so proved easy for him as he gains access to the computer. He soon gains access to the security cameras of the underground tunnels. All he could see was Yakuza reinforcements moving through the underground tunnels.

Tech: I'm seeing Yakuza reinforcements moving through all over the compound.

Hunter: Any of them coming our way?

Tech: Doesn't look like it.

Hunter: Then we better get going.

Wrecker: Detonators set!

Tech: At least wait until we're out of the room before you detonate the explosives.

The Bad Batch and Jiro exited the room. As they did, Wrecker detonated the explosives, completely destroying the room.

Wrecker: Kaboom!

Jiro: What now?

Hunter: Let's keep going.

As Hunter said this, the Bad Batch and Jiro came under fire by machine gun fire. The Bad Batch quickly took cover.

Jiro: I thought those reinforcements weren't coming for us!

Tech: That must be the extraction team!

???: Well I'll be goddamned! The Bad fucking Batch! I thought I'd might find you here!

As the voice called out to him, Hunter peaked from behind cover to see Swordkil and the Shadow Dogs in front of them. Gunsmith immediately fires on Hunter, forcing him to take cover.

Hunter: So you're taking jobs for the Shie Hassaikai? Figured you'd join up with scumbags like Overhaul.

Swordkil: A job's a job, Hunter. My client's paying me good money for this job. I couldn't help but notice that kid following you around. Trying to replace me?

Hunter: She's already proven to be better than you by miles!

Swordkil: I sincerely doubt that. Though I'll admit that she does look familiar. Hey kid! Have we met before?! I feel like I tried to kill you before?!

Jiro quickly recognizes Swordkil as a mercenary working for Wolfram during an attack on I-Island. As Jiro remained silent, Swordkil laughed.

Swordkil: Don't be shy now, kid! I don't bite!

Hunter: Why don't you make it easy on yourselves and back down. We'll go easy on you.

Swordkil: Since when did we both do easy?

In that moment, the Shadow Dogs blocked the way. Knowing a fight was inevitable, Hunter turned to Jiro.

Hunter: Stay close to me, Echo. We're in it now.

Jiro prepared herself as the Bad Batch prepared to battle against the Shadow Dogs in the Shie Hassaikai Compound. Both factions would not back down as the raid on the Shie Hassaikai Compound commenced.
