After the invasion on the Training Camp, the Bad Batch boarded the Havoc Marauder. Tech then begins tracing the tracking device placed by Yaoyorozu. As they began making their way to the supposed hideout of the League of Villains, Wrecker turns on the TV and sees Aizawa on the TV.
Wrecker: Hey! Shota's on TV!
Wrecker then turns up the volume on the TV as the rest of the Bad Batch turn their attention to the TV with the exception of Tech who was piloting the Havoc Marauder. On the TV, Aizawa along with Principal Nezu and Vlad King were giving a press conference addressing the Villain attack on the Training Camp as well as Bakugo's kidnapping. They watched as the press began to criticize them for how it went down. The conversation soon fell on the Bad Batch.
Journalist(TV): What about the reports that the Bad Batch were in the Training Camp on the night of the attack? Don't you think that bringing them made things worse?
Aizawa(TV): The Bad Batch may be unconventional, but they get the job done. It's because of them that we were able to push back the Villains.
Journalist(TV): And why aren't they here to issue their statement?
Aizawa(TV): Because they're working on rescuing Katsuki Bakugo as we speak. I mean no offense to my colleagues, but the Bad Batch prefer action to words. I have full faith in the Bad Batch that they'll get the job done.
At that point, the other journalists began voicing their opinions and concerns on the Bad Batch as well as voice their outrage over the whole situation. At that point, Crosshair had enough.
Crosshair: Turn that shit off.
Wrecker turns off the TV. The Bad Batch felt sorry for their former teammate at how the press was treating him. Crosshair however was angry.
Crosshair: Like any of those goddamn pencil pushers know what happened.
Hunter: Easy there, Crosshair.
Crosshair: You saw what happened. It's clear that they don't give a damn about us. Even when we try to help, they still find ways to condemn us.
Hunter: We knew what we signed up for. We don't play like regular Pro Heroes. We're here to get the job done. If people don't like that, then that's their problem. As long as we do our job, that's all that matters.
This was the most angry Crosshair has ever been. He never liked the press, but that press conference deeply angered him. Crosshair then begins checking on his 773 Firepuncher Sniper Rifle while Hunter spoke with Tech.
Hunter: How close are we to the target area?
Tech: Not too far. We should be here in a couple of minutes.
Hunter then gathered Crosshair and Wrecker to formulate a plan.
Hunter: We're going straight into the lion's den. If that tracer took us to the right place, then this is where the League of Villains is hiding out.
Wrecker: Should be a good exercise! Today's a good day to start cracking some skulls!
Hunter: Once we reach the hideout, we'll get in and take down the League. But based on what Aizawa said, they'll be packing some serious firepower.
Tech: What about Swordkil and the Shadow Dogs?
Upon hearing that, Hunter as well as the rest of the Bad Batch began to wonder about Swordkil. Ever since the attack, they've heard no word from Swordkil or the Shadow Dogs.
Hunter: We'll worry about that when it comes to it. For now, we focus on one thing at a time. Once we deal with the League of Villains, we'll deal with Swordkil and his crew.
Tech: There could be a chance that they could be working together. It can't be a coincidence that they attacked at the same time.
Wrecker: That just means more skulls to crack! I'm fine with that!
Hunter: If Swordkil happens to be working with the League, then that just means we can deal with both problems in one sitting. But something tells me there's more to this than meets the eye.
Crosshair: You think there's something bigger in play?
Hunter: I don't know. But it's clear that something is going on. Let's just hope I'm wrong on this.
Soon enough, the Havoc Maruader lands on top of a building near what appeared to be a warehouse. As the Bad Batch exits the ship, Tech uses his Chart Quirk to pull up the schematics on the warehouse.
Tech: I'm picking up multiple points of entry in the warehouse. Looks like it's been abandoned for some time.
Hunter: Sounds like the best place for the League to hideout.
Wrecker: Well what are we waiting for?! Let's go in there and bust some heads!
Tech: Hold on, I'm picking up strange signals coming from the warehouse. I can't exactly pick up what they are.
Hunter then uses his Electromagnetic Sonar Quirk to search for any electromagnetic signals. He soon finds the same spikes that Tech picked up.
Hunter: Something's definitely going on in that warehouse. Crosshair, you stay here and provide sniper support.
Crosshair: Copy.
Hunter: The rest of you with me. We'll infiltrate the hideout through the back entrance and take down the League of Villains. I want this operation done quick and clean.
With that, Hunter led Tech and Wrecker to the back door of the warehouse while Crosshair stayed behind to provide sniper support. What the Bad Batch didn't know was that a titanic battle would soon erupt that would shake all of Hero Society to it's core.
