As Jiro continued her training under the Bad Batch, Jiro made significant progress in her training. The intense training regimen had made Jiro physically and mentally stronger. One day, Hunter was watching Jiro make another attempt at the Pit when he gets a call from Aizawa.
Aizawa(Phone): Hunter, are you there?
Hunter: I am. What's up?
Aizawa(Phone): We're making a move on the Shie Hassaikai.
Hunter: We're finally hitting those guys? What's the occasion?
Aizawa(Phone): Sir Nighteye's investigation concluded that Overhaul is producing Quirk Destroying Bullets made from a young girl's DNA. We need the Bad Batch on this.
Hunter: Say no more. Send us the coordinates and we'll be there.
As the call ended, Hunter turned his attention to Jiro who once more failed to complete the Pit. She immediately becomes frustrated at herself when Hunter approached her.
Jiro: I know I screwed up....
Hunter: Don't worry, Jiro. You'll have your shot at the Pit later. In the meantime, we got bigger fish to fry.
With that, Hunter gathered Jiro and the rest of the Bad Batch on the roof where the Havoc Marauder was docked.
Jiro: What's going on?
Hunter: We have a mission. The Pro Heroes are going to launch a raid on the Shie Hassaikai compound.
Crosshair: I assume Aizawa was the one who gave us this little mission?
Hunter: That's right, Crosshair. We're going to the compound and help them on this raid.
Jiro: What exactly is the mission?
Hunter: The Pro Heroes are going to be attempting to rescue a little girl who's being help captive by their boss. They'll also be attempting to arrest Overhaul. Our mission however will be to get inside the compound and destroy their supply of Quirk Destroying Bullets.
Jiro: Quirk Destroying Bullets?
As Jiro asked this, Tech uses his Chart Quirk to display the holoprojection schematics of the Quirk Destroying Bullets on his forearm.
Tech: Based on the intel Aizawa has given us, the bullet houses chemical substance that is capable of damaging the genetic mechanisms that compose someone's Quirk, destroying the Quirk in the process.
Upon hearing this, Jiro immediately became disturbed by the notion that there exists a weapon capable of destroying someone's Quirk.
Jiro: We....we have to stop them!
Hunter: Settle down, Jiro. This compound is going to be heavily guarded. If Overhaul's there, then the place will be a fortress. They'll no doubt have an arsenal at their disposal and they won't mind using it. There's also a chance that they might be armed with those Quirk Destroying Bullets. Now let's get moving.
With that, the Bad Batch and Jiro boarded the Havoc Marauder. As the Havoc Marauder took off, the Bad Batch readied their equipment while Tech piloted the Havoc Marauder. During the ride to the Shie Hassaikai Compound, Jiro couldn't help but feel nervous. Despite surviving multiple Villain attacks, there was something about this mission that troubled her. Hunter could see that something was bothering Jiro so he checked on her.
Hunter: Nervous?
Jiro: Y...yeah.
Wrecker: How could you be nervous?! You survived two attacks from the League of Villains! That's experience right there! Not to mention you hung around with Death Arms!
Jiro: I....I know. It's just that....this mission seems....different. Maybe it's because the other side has a way to destroy someone's Quirk.
Hunter: Those bullets are certainly going to cause problems for the raiding team. Luckily for us our armor should be able to keep us safe from the bullets.
Tech: Sorry I couldn't get your armor ready, Jiro.
Jiro: It's fine, Tech. I'll just have to be careful.
Hunter: Stay close to us and you'll be fine.
During the silent trip, Jiro mentally prepared herself for the mission ahead. As they got closer to the compound, the Havoc Marauder is contacted by Aizawa. Aizawa then speaks through the Havoc Marauder's intercom.
Aizawa(Intercom): Bad Batch, this is Eraserhead. We've reached the Shie Hassaikai Compound and have begun our raid.
Tech: We're coming up on the compound right now. Stand by.
Hunter: Hold on tight. This is going to be a bumpy ride.
As the Havoc Marauder approached the Shie Hassaikai Compound, machine gun fire immediately rains upon them. However, the bullets bounce off the ship.
Tech: Hull still at 100%. Setting the Havoc Marauder on autopilot. Opening the boarding ramp now.
As Tech set the Havoc Marauder on autopilot, the boarding ramp opened. Jiro took several deep breaths before joining the Bad Batch near the boarding ramp. Wrecker cracked his knuckles as he puts his helmet on.
Wrecker: See you at the bottom!
Wrecker laughs as he jumps off the Havoc Marauder and lands on the roof. He immediately rushes for the Yakuza thugs stationed on the roof and begins taking them down. Hunter along with the rest of the Bad Batch and Jiro jumped off from the Havoc Marauder's boarding ramp and joined Wrecker. They made quick work of the Yakuza thugs on the roof.
Wrecker: These punks were too easy!
Tech: You'll get a harder challenge soon enough, Wrecker. This compound is hot with hostiles.
Hunter: Then let's get into the compound and destroy those bullets. Let's get to work.
With that, the Bad Batch and Jiro made their way inside the Shie Hassaikai Compound while the Pro Heroes battled against Overhaul's forces. As the Bad Batch made their way inside the compound, Jiro prepared herself for the chaos that would follow. Through this mission, Jiro would earn her colors within the Bad Batch.
