On the day of the Cultural Festival, the Bad Batch took Omega to the festival in an attempt to cheer her up. Even as Omega participated in some of the activities, it was clear to Hunter that she wasn't happy. The shadow of Overhaul still lingered over her. As the Bad Batch walked the grounds of the Cultural Festival, the Bad Batch could see all the people who came in attendance.

Wrecker: This place is really packed! These UA kids really know how to throw a party!

Tech: It's not a party. It's a festival meant to for both students and the populace to have fun.

Crosshair: It's a waste of time if you ask me. You think the League of Villains is going to relax?

Hunter: Look what these kids have been through. Villain attack after villain attack. If you ask me, I'd say they've earned this.

Crosshair says nothing as the Bad Batch walk the grounds of the Cultural Festival. Hunter along with Tech and Wrecker were in civilian attire while Crosshair was still in armor. He had made it clear to the rest of the Bad Batch that he had no interest being here. Soon enough, they made their way to the stage where Principal Nezu took the stage.

Nezu: Good morning students and faculty members of UA High! It is my greatest honor to present you this year's Cultural Festival! To start off this great day is a musical performance from Class 1-A!

The crowd cheered as Kyoka Jiro took center stage with her Bass. Jiro took a deep breath as she looked around the crowd. She could see Omega standing next to Hunter. Wanting to make her smile, Jiro addressed the crowd.

Jiro: My....my name is Kyoka Jiro of Class 1-A! This song is dedicated to all Heroes past, present and future! We can all be Heroes!

As Jiro addressed the crowd, the curtains open up showing the music band and the dancers in position. As the crowd begins cheering. Then the lights go out. In that darkness, Bakugo yells out for the performance to begin and generating an explosion as he starts playing the drums to which Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, Tokoyami and Jiro begin playing their instruments following suite and the dance team begin the performance. The audience is surprised by the flashy introduction, as Jiro thanks them for being there before she starts singing.

Wrecker: Now that's what I call a show!

Tech: Hhm. Not bad, Jiro.

Crosshair said nothing as he just watched the performance. Hunter glanced over to Omega who was watching the show with interest. Without hesitation, he picks Omega up and hoists her on his shoulders. Everyone is pumped with Class 1-A's singing and dancing. Even those students who showed up simply to criticize them are unable to hide their enjoyment and start cheering and dancing with everyone else. Even Crosshair couldn't help but tap his feet to the song. At the given time, Midoriya throws Aoyama into the air, who uses his Quirk Navel Laser to fill the room with light effects to the audience's delight, being picked up by Ojiro to continue dancing. Then Izuku leaves the stage to prepare Yuga to be the mirror ball and maneuver him during the finale. As the music reached it's climax, Omega was in awe of the music around her. She was mesmerized by Jiro's husky, but heavenly voice. For the first time in a long time, Omega felt joy. As Jiro sang the last verse of the song, her voice soared through the audience. This was the moment where Omega smiled the biggest smile in her life. Hunter watched with a smile on his face as the girl who had lived in misery for so long smiled. The shadow of Overhaul was lifted. When the performance is about to end, Todoroki and Sero combine their Quirk to create garlands of ice, while Yaoyorozu uses her Quirk to shoot confetti to create a dazzling end to their performance. Class 1-A begin launching some of them into the air, making it all the more spectacular, and Ochaco uses her Quirk to get some of the audience to join in on the fun. Among those were Hunter and Omega. Omega smiled as she twirled in the air. The show ends with applause and a great ovation from the audience. Some time later, Hunter and the rest of the Bad Batch bring Omega backstage.

Hunter: Not a bad performance, kid.

Jiro: T...thanks, Hunter.

Tech: I think it's safe to say that they made quite the impression. Based on the reaction from the crowd, word of mouth will have the students who didn't personally see the concert will come to the conclusion that Class 1-A had poured everything into their act.

Jiro: What about you, Omega? Did you like the show?

Omega: I love it! It was amazing!

Without warning, Omega hugged Jiro, prompting a warm reaction from the rest of Class 1-A. Jiro smiled as she hugged Omega. Class 1-A's performance managed to get Omega to smile. For Hunter and Jiro, this was a victory.

Omega: Can you.....can you teach me to play? Like you?

Jiro was taken aback by this.

Jiro: O....of course!

With that, the Bad Batch and Omega left the backstage to enjoyed all the other displays and performances from the rest of the UA classes. As the Cultural Festival ended, the Bad Batch took Omega back to base. With that day of fun, the shadow of Overhaul had finally been lifted off of Omega. But that moment of rest and fun would soon be over as a new threat would rise from the most unlikely places.
